I recall one time in particular when it was blowing a gale and he, a good golfer, took driver off the tee on 15 and then off the fairway to just get on the green. He was chuffed to come off with par. I’ll be watching the Crail episode soon, as that’s another course we’ve played several times. Another stunning course in an area blessed with so many.
30:10 I don't know if anyone else is noticing, but your green play is so much better. Yeah, one silly double bogey, but you are getting those initial chips and putts much closer. It's clear to see for me.

I’ve been watching Rick Shiels videos for a long while. Really love the content. I love golf. I play in the summer as much as I can and I try minimum 2 times in a week with my work schedule. I’m an 11 handicap, and have only broken 80 maybe 10-15 times in the 15+ years I’ve been playing. Never had any lessons self taught. I consistently score 81-85 for 18, but not regularly into the 70’s. My best round to date I started out 3 birdies in a row, followed with 3 bogies and pars. Shot even on the front and +4 on the back 9 for a 76. Awesome 73!!! Way to go Rick!
All I’ve learned from this and the last vids, Scotland is beautiful and should be appreciated in all its glory. May we all be blessed to experience this and all it’s glory (but maybe… the summer months would be better suited for the feint of heart).

Well played guys. The last 2 break 75’s have been special for me being an exiled Fifer. My grandparents worked at Elie Golf Club in the 80s and I also bought my Tommy Armour 845s there in ‘92. Still playing them today!
Shielsy, I have watched all of Break 75 Season 2, and your good friend Guy Charnock always brings out the best in you. The dialogue and candor between you both is just fantastic, when coupled with the editing it just makes for great golf and great content. Cheers to you both. I am lucky enough to play in a pair with my best friend almost weekly and he always brings out the best in me. Play Well!
I watch rock shields a lot and learn new things all the time from this channel today I learned that it's okay to have some bad games when that happens work harder thank you rick shields and guy for giving me that advice that helps a lot
Lucky enough to have played Elie a couple of years ago (on a much warmer day than this). I don’t know why the course feels as special as it does but it truly is fabulous and you fall in love with it. Great to watch the pair of you work your way round with great scores. Need to get back there soon.

Love this video Rick because last year a buddy and I played a round in 30 mph winds and it truly felt impossible to get the ball off the tee let alone in the hole. Forces you to plan each and every shot. Also love that you have kept up with Break75. Keep it going mate and soon you'll be doing break 65 with Garret Clark.
