So do you work as part of a large or small FM team, or are you a Lone Ranger (with or without the costume) and what kind of challenges does this working environment bring?
I currently work as a lone ranger across a 5 site operation. I have 20 years experience and am in the process of building my own fm business. My problem is the transition between being employed and getting to the stage where I can go full time in my business.
In my mid 30's considering a career in FM, your videos are very helpful and I thank you for your time and effort. And for the record your cow boy impression was on the money.
Lone Ranger bacause of the nature of the business specially if you need to recruit manpower to help. Anyway, thanks for this informative presentation. Cheers!!!
Hi Richie. Don't forget that you can still take a strategic approach even if you're a lone ranger - of course it can be tough as you've probably got a million operational and tactical issues to deal with, but if you can set aside some time each week to consider the strategy it will set you up for when you get your assistant.
Thanks Victor - I'd say that so far the videos we've produced have been most relevant for FMs working at the operational and hoping to progress so I hope you're finding them useful!
