Okay so this video seems to be riddled with Tom not in the band, how this was thier golden days, bla bla bla. Can we just appreciate how fuggin fast Travis is playing all of his drum beats to perfection?
There's very few drummers that can do that double bass hit as quick as Travis with a single pedal. Hell some can barely do it that fast with a double pedal.

Having the guitar that low actually helps facilitate down strokes. Your arm is extended forcing the use of your wrist. Johnny Ramone also used this. I consider Tom an underrated guitarist.
Chris Mooney I wish I was born at that time or even before like in the 90s, I think it’s boring as hell now because no one wants to do anything but play on their stupid phones all the time
sorry, but you can't watch this and say blink wasn't punk. Edit: can't believe how crazy a drunk comment got. I think I was commenting more on their attitude though. blink ended up bridging many punk sub-genres in their so far 28 year career, and it was just fun to watch them. I agree with all of you, lol.

make sure you track down the live cd The Mark Tom and Travis show, they had some of the funniest between song rants on that shit.
aeromacin Great CD, got it signed by Travis
Mitch Hilder lucky bastard, my ex got a guitar strap signed by tom that show but she got to keep it in the break up. fml.
Having the guitar that low actually helps facilitate down strokes. Your arm is extended forcing the use of your wrist. Johnny Ramone also used this. I consider Tom an underrated guitarist.
XD
I gotta say, Family Reunion is really inspirational.
I was watching g some new blink live show and quickly switched to this because its the best fucking thing ever
idk why but i find it cool that Tom can't play his parts properly
Because blink is the only band that get respect for playing shitty on stage, and they fuckin love doing it too
@@giulianovescio8763 Ahem. NOFX.
@@filmercode oh shit, sorry
Because tom doesnt tune his guitar and plays like shit intentionally live and it sounds amazing
Have you seen him recently. He was a virtuoso back then in comparison haha
No smartphones, everybody jumping, moshing, smoking pot, getting drunk...the best years ever!
Malakoi do Além whoa we do that in 2019 🤭
Amen!
Now we use our smartphones to watch and remember the good old days....
People got drunk and did pot because 2000 was boring as fuck 😂🙄 it's much better now. So much more to do
Chris Mooney I wish I was born at that time or even before like in the 90s, I think it’s boring as hell now because no one wants to do anything but play on their stupid phones all the time
haha when mark shoved tom during untitled toms face was just like, "really man?"
Im disgusted by the fact that I was busy not being born when this was going on
ong bru wish i here
sorry, but you can't watch this and say blink wasn't punk.
Edit: can't believe how crazy a drunk comment got. I think I was commenting more on their attitude though. blink ended up bridging many punk sub-genres in their so far 28 year career, and it was just fun to watch them. I agree with all of you, lol.
Of course they weren't 😂
This isn’t punk, sorry
pop punk, maybe. but not punk.
r/gatekeeping
this softpunk
After watching All time low for the last 3 mins, I feel much better to be back here now.
This is the blink 182 I know and love. I’m glad they’re back together but they’ll never top this. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Class of 99, right here :)
:)))
here too
Still best pop punk band ever.
Color Me Leighzy yehh still
@@shaneberry4334 i thought it was rollerblade punk
This is pop punk.
@@shaneberry4334 it's pop punk
What about green day
Half of the comments are "back when Tom cared", the other half are "back when Tom didn't care and just had fun".
4:07 - 4:11 travis looks like he's having so much fun XD
To much maybe.......
***** Never too much
there has to be a revival of this music someday... of this whole era... OF THE 90's
my favorite age, im kinda from there, the 90s, well i was like 10 yr ol in the 2000, i lived them... and i fkin miss em.......
Toms presence on stage and their chemistry is so entertaining to watch just as much as the songs
isn't it great how u see the crowd moshing and dancing and enjoying the show. not a thousand iPhone being held up to record.
or playing pokemon go
Shaun Antony Espiritu back in the days of flip phones and they used to be cool and the days before social media.
Alex Loor nowadays the only reason people come up on the stage isn't to stagedive but cos there is a charizard or something on the stage
I didn't even realize this until I read this comment. Everyone just living in the moment.
10:35 ... The only band who have their fans crowd surf when nothing is even playing
In the days when people would actually move instead of standing there with smartphones recording it!
Recently went to a BlackStoneCherry / Shinedown / Halestorm concert where 'fans/metalheads' were actually getting pissed off at mosh pits!
i first saw this video like 8 years ago. It changed my whole life and personality
Is there a video of just them talking between songs?
The second half of "take off your pants and jacket" is like 30 tracks of just the banter. Pretty noice.
^ live album plenty of banter
@@EntryLevelLuxury The second half of The mark Tom And Travis show
All I remember from having this CD as a kid is "SANTA CLAUS IS GONNA COME SHIT UNDER ALL YOUR TREES!!!" "SANTA'S GONNA COME RAPE YOUR DOGS!!!"
LOOOOL
Nelson3300 that’s the mark, Tom and Travis show
I don´t care... They are fucking Funny... Hahahaha Try to see always the positive things in life guys... The world is full of bad ones!!!
flee
true thought , Blink forever
Omg just hearing him say “Helloooooooooooo!” Right away fills me with so much love. 0:00 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🦁🦁🦁🦁🙏
Music like this is STILL being made in 2016, you just need to know where to find it! Search up 'Trepidation - HeadAche (Official Audio Video)'. Good shit
2000 the first semester of my college... good ol' times... My favorite 3 of their albums dude ranch, enema of the state, take off your pants and jacket...
That's like the most mainstream albums by them
Shadow Venom Gamer They were probably at their strongest in terms of song-writing for those three albums... I'd say the mainstream success reflected that :P
Chris McSweeney Dude Ranch wasn't very popular, actually.I remember they didn't really blow up til Enema. Dude Ranch had one big song, but that doesn't mean the album was popular.
Fuck off shadow. All of their albums are mainstream, they're a popular band
It was just a joke dude damn
The energy the jokes the sound omg I miss this so much
I've seen this video like a million times !
Never get boring
I wish they would play Pathetic again in sets :(
Me too, such a beautiful song, probs one of my favorites
They just did 2 nights ago in West Palm Beach.
Where's that video?
No phones just music, glad to have been there and got to meet them in person, Tom will always be my favorite of blink 182, such an amazing show, I was 16 at the time!!
7:47 OMG THOSE VOCAL HARMONIES ARE PURE LOVE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🦁
