@Jon Tibbatts well lets see my 2021 Honda Monkey is motorized and can't even do freeway speeds soooooo 🤷♂️ and my 2021 KTM Duke 390 can do freeway speeds no problem but isn't the most comfortable over long freeway rides. Lol. Not all things can do freeway speeds or aren't made to be comfortable over long distances on the freeway my guy. I bet you are one of the people merging on the freeway at 55mph and getting mad when I don't move my semi over 🤣

Actually the bike had a lot more to offer. He top out at 137 km which is only 85.13 mph. I’ve hit at least 120 mph no problem and that’s on a DCT model.

This bike is no slouch. They got most of their technology from Honda racing when designing and building these bikes. It’s not all about comfort, of which there’s plenty, it’s about performance and agility while able to take real life curves and power out of corners with a smoothness second to none! Everyone loves Harley, including myself, but in all honesty if you ever consider getting a motorcycle that will mechanically outlive most other brands, without giving up anything in the way of performance, the simple choice is a Honda. I also think when you fold the passenger seat down and run it straight with hard baggage , there’s nobody who comes close to the aesthetic side of it either. I understand the younger crowd wants to give off that testosterone vibe with the sport bikes, and the Harley guys love to roll through town with a thunderous boom of awesome almost v8 sound from two wheels. If you could just possibly think ahead about 5-10 years and imagine the absolute comfort the Honda gives, with reverse and power steering I might add, I’m sure a good 1,000 mile trek across the mountains would help you decide that the gold wing is the answer to all of your motorcycle needs.

I have a 15 bagger and I like it well enough, but I borrowed my father's 21 and it's night and day. The new ones are a lot more sleek... Can go pretty damn quick on the highway without all the buffeting I get on mine.

It's brisk for a heavy luxury tourer. But big sport tourers like the Kawi C14 and the Yahama FJR will cremate a Gold Wing or any big Harley with ease.
