I just bought a 2008 this last summer. Just last week had an open road on interstate (no vehicles to pass), I hit 127 per GPS and was not at full throttle. I've been at 120 a few times. Have an 80 mile ride each way to work; very few days don't hit triple digits 2-3 times. There was no wobbling at all. My wife and I had a 2003 years ago. We hit 138 back then and no wobble. If you have wobble, there is something not right with the GL1800. Lewis
I've owned four GL1800's. ('03, '08, and two '13's) The speedometers were notoriously inaccurate until about 2010. You say 127 by GPS and not even wide open. But 138 MPH or KMH? I've had all these bikes WFO and maxed out more than a few times. My experience is 125-127 on level ground (by GPS) But 138 MPH? What did you do to it for this much improvement? I'd pay to know!
What is the Honda Goldwing's performance like on the road? If the "Goldwing DCT Tour Airbag" with a single rider on a level road is cruising at a constant 140km/h (86.9mph) in top gear (7th), what would is engine speed be (how much engine rpm)?
@@kennethanway7979 :38 Elapsed Time of the Video shows the Top Speed (Look above the Instrument Cluster at the GPS on my Phone). No taming it down, that's all she had before the Rev Limiter started kicking in.
Your FJR also doesn't weigh in at +/- 850 LBS and I was also Riding with a Passenger. Your FJR also makes a lot more power than the F6B, which is only +/- 100 HP. LMAO.
Love picking on Harleys with the Goldwing !!

Bikes aren't supposed to wobble.
골드윙 바이크 최고 입니다
Just hold on, no shifting required. Big Scoot
Scooters are cool. The yamaha xmax does 85 mph, that's a speed that some 6 speed motorcycles can't reach. So who's the slow poke now?

I will test it for you on the Autobahn in a week or so and get back to you, just commenting now, so I find it later :3
1.8-2.2k somewhere around there. it tops out at 4.2 with a soft limiter at 180 kph. so there is more to be had, but honda does not want that.
My dct does about 100 kmh at 2,000 rpm.
my 202 would be under 2800 rpm
Natural selection!!
It sounds like an electric vacuum !!
And you hardly hear any wind!
Yep
Even thoug no wind is possible
Just edit the sound track in the video. Then you can add and hear a bird singing if you please.

What go pro did you use?
An old Hero 7 Black Edition.
Какая скорость??? Не вижу. Можете спидометр перд собой какой нибудь поставить???
Nice run, do that on a full goldwing and wind turbulence will cause huge wobble,,,try it at your peril.
The gold ring does not wobble at high speeds and this is not the top speed.
@@elixier33 maybe no wobble on a F6B, but trust me a loaded wing will… I own one been there done it.
@@elixier33 ps. What do you class as high speeds?
Hai mai avuto una Gold Wing?
Credo proprio di no.
La moto fino a 190 kmh è stabile.
Good forks and bearings, you get zero wobble
200 Kph 👍
Wow
Nice speed run, fun until the front end gets light, ask me how I know.
How do you know? What happens?
my 2015 sucks @ 100+ not a fun time lol. learned that early on.
Not very fast. Was that the top speed?
Let me reiterate it: "Top Speed Run on the Honda GoldWing F6B. 124.02 MPH on the GPS. Engine was on the soft-Rev Limiter."
@@g-forcejax9256 thanks! I saw over 120, but wondered if you were taming it down for YT! 😀👍

@g-forcejax9256 that flat 6 makes some serious torque though. It must launch like a mofo.
@@Ninja0verkill Yes, it does...and it's soooooo smooooooth!
124.02 MPH when ?? i do not see 🥲😪
At the :38 Second Elapsed Time of the Video. Look at the GPS on the Phone Screen, the Top Speed is shown in the lower Left corner.
Yes show them hd what I real bike can do
HD blow....
@@cats5351 that’s what he’s saying, he just sucks at typing. He’s saying “hell yeah, show those lame HD’s what a real bike can do.”
