You need to get Kevin Ellis on here (don't think you have had him yet). Great storey teller and angler.

Nice one guys. This is the first time I’ve heard anybody mention hermasitas sweetener, a great additive. I think it had emulsifying properties. Boots the chemists used to sell it in some crazy long glass bottle with a long pointy blue lid. Wow that really is a blast from the past! Lloyd Bent from the carp cellar put me on to that. And oh Lordy Geoff Kemps evaporated milk and ice cream flavour great memories of that, one of the best flavours I ever used. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Great podcast me and a mate used to drive down to stamps pond from Middlesbrough we met clive there a couple of times we were as green as grass in those days and at a time when every thing was secret squirrel clive was really helpful to us it's nice to see that he is still the smashing friendly bloke that he was when we met him all those years ago. Thank you.

I fished with Clive on a Carp Society junior fish in. Was next door to his mate Rog who was paired with Andy Little. Clive was a lovely guy, taught me a lot and tempered my teenage hubris a fair bit which was good for me in the long run. My Dad also played a bit in the CS Super Group. Time flies. :
    Best of luck in retirement!

Great podcast. John Richards would be an incredible guest. Spent many hours with him back in the early bait rolling days
