I think the appeal to your channel(s) is in the "live" gameplay style. I watch you, and was ecstatic to see Flabaliki upload again, FOR the long-winded thought-process-explaining build processes- so don't think it's a problem, it's the draw IMO. (Early early early in the video you talk about it like you're unsure how people feel about watching it happen).
I love this level of gameplay for planet games. You try to make things nice, but also lean into the inherent sillyness of the game. Making good stuff. Being able to see the though process is great.
Obviously clichéd, but all the yellow around the wild mouse coaster reminds me of cheese and for some reason, all I can think of is the old board game Mouse Trap. I think it could be really cool to theme it around that, like have trim brakes and chain sections that slow you down and speed you up around obstacles, and put the classic mouse trap drop animated scenery section that you narrowly avoid at the end
Are there wild mouse coasters in this game with the moving track elements like rotating track and drops? I think that would be the coolest way to do a mousetrap coaster.
I'm a big fan of your builds but even more so, i like how you actually check the guest's tiredness and what they want and edit accordingly! It's so satisfying seeing the park become more and more efficient as well as decorated!
If you want more cars you must build a longer station. It's the third tab in the track edit window. You can just build it like a normal track, bit by bit. It didn't work when you did it because there already was a track that was in the way. When you delete the track, you can build a longer station.
Yeah I know I can make it longer, I don’t want a bigger station though. Was hoping I could build a second station now or do block section. But we’ll have to wait for the update for that

Lazy rivers are often part of a pool (as an offspring, that starts and ends in the same pool). You can have the game auto build the jets with a certain spacing, however, it can be a bit buggy (as so many things). Unfortunately, a bridge over the river has to look silly (and way too high), I hope they improve that. Either the pathing snaps, or it deletes the river. I would call the wild mouse coaster "Twitch".
With all the metal bars theming around the new coaster, "Mouse Trap" could be a good name. Maybe even add a giant cage to the theming like the old board game? 🤣 Also, seeing as the guests keep getting trapped in the queue, it totally fits!
I think the lazy river is a smart idea, then it can transition into the more woodsy side of the park, and you can put a log flume ride between the wild mouse and the wooden coaster.
When I tell you Flabaliki has been with me through all my major life events...and now you've come back just when I'm pregnant with my rainbow baby! 🌈 She will definitely grow up watching a bit of JT and I can't wait 😂
The reason why the escape function isn’t consistent when deselecting from the search menu (for example) is that esc is moving back in the categories each time, instead of going fully out. I believe right clicking on an empty patch of terrain fully gets out of the menu.
I think you should name the ride ‘Aphrodita’ it’s another name for ‘the sea mouse’ which makes sense for a waterpark mouse ride - ‘Aphrodita’s Adventure’ sounds good to me!
The experience service badge thing drives me crazy. As far as I can tell, the maintenance people can’t even head towards the ride until after the badge expires, but as soon as it expires you immediately start wracking up charges to repair it. What is the point of having schedules and zones and all that if they won’t do maintenance on a schedule?
With all the construction pieces you uses on the wild mouse coaster(and the colour scheme), you should make it a construction themed ride! Maybe call it 'construction crew'? 'Hard hat adventure'? 'Pint sized planners'? Maybe even make it that the people building are the mouse trolleys lols.
My suggestion would be to name it "Electric Mouse" in reference to the most famous Pokemon, and yes the thunderbolts you placed at some point gave me the idea (also, if you do choose this name, try not getting striked by Nintendo). Great series btw I enjoy it very much :)
I think because you closed and then opened the ride again before people could leave the queue, the guests closest to the entrance are in "leave mode" - hence why they've got their backs turned towards the gate. I thiiiiiink that's why no one else can get on, because they're blocked by the guests who are trying to leave. Edit: oops, you solved the problem like 2 min after I commented. Never mind then 😅

The yellow industrial beams and stuff heavily reminds me of your builds for Moonwood Mill in the sims. So maybe a Greg theme? Like that's what it's like when you're trying to run away from Greg. I'm all for more pool-related things in the park. Also, for your franchise park that you have with Dr. Gluon: What if you guys made a water ride (or a bundle of them) in yellow colour, with yellow noodle-like decorations to fill it up and huge (possibly animated) meatballs - that's right, I'm talking a Meatball Spaghetti section! 🍝
I am thoroughly enjoying watching you build this, the game looks fantastic even the bits that are making you struggle, its all a great learning curve for us watching.
I remember with Planet Coaster 1 you could make the stations as long as you wanted to, and it looks like the pieces are available in 2, but you can only add to a current station.
I have the perfecta coaster name, it should be “Patty’s Revenge,” I think it makes a lot of sense for the theme of this ride, and it’s really unique, I haven’t seen a single coaster with that name before!
For "blockers" you can always clip garbage cans, benches, or other path addons. Saw that done many times in Planet Zoo and first game. There may also be the special planter/barrier that blocks pathfinding n this one, would be weird not to have one after two games.
I suggest theming the wild mouse with a surfing motif. Call it the cowabunga or something similar; and a tiki/ancient ruins theme for the wooden coaster.
Hi james heres a tip that works on pc1 at 26:45 you could've selected the items you wanted to and clicked split building, on pc1 when a buildings selected there are fine movement controls
I appreciate the developers for doing everything they can to make this game the best one they've made to date, however I still think this is one of them broken games. There is so insanely many bugs that unless they fix half of them in 1 hotfix, it's simply not possible to fix all of them in atleast a year time. There is already 2000 bug reports on the issue tracker which is INSANE, considering they've "tested" their game before release. Anyway enough about Frontier, I really enjoy watching all kinds of youtubers play this game and see how creative they can get! It's a lot of fun and even gives a bunch of ideas of what the viewer can add to their own park! Amazing.

How about something like "Mouse race" for the name of the wild mouse? Or "Mini Mouse" or even "Micro Mouse" since it's shorter in time than an average wild mouse (so no, not a wierd random reference to Disney). 😛 The whole park could be called Flabaland 😄😄🥳🥳 I didn't feel anything was wrong witht he camera when we rode the coaster. but maybe it was fine bc I'm watching in 0.75 speed 🤔
I really wanna play this game but I'm not paying money for a game thats so janky and broken. It could be so much easier to do everything in this game but they make it loook so hard to make anything remotely good. It's literally as broken as the Sims 4, You have too find a work around to make everything work or just pretend it's doing what it's supposed to.

You dont need to manually place jets for the lazy river theres an option to make it automatically place

For the entrance/parking lot. Maybe you can build like a parking house (with nothing really in it) and they can spawn walking in and out of it!

Cedar Point is a park in Sandusky, OH on Lake Erie. It's pretty well known in the Eastern part of the US.

There are settings to disable path and pool collision which will allow you to put the path closer to the river. Unsure if that's just sandbox.
