A mighty sincere man. Such passionate episodes William Alexander creates. Thoroughly enjoy his works. And thankyou so very much for this mighty channel.!!!
I don't know who's been uploading all of these videos lately, but thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Please don't stop until the entire library is uploaded. I used to watch Bill Alexander when I was a kid and it's so wonderful seeing these videos again. This is exactly what we need to be watching in these chaotic times!
Len Frechette thank you for your comments. We believe Bill can help bring love and peace to the world right now while there is uncertainty. We will continue to upload through the “distancing” period we are experiencing now. Enjoy!
@@AAlexanderArt Thank you again for all these videos. You have been uploading so many I'm having trouble keeping up! Keep them coming though, they have become a great boost to my daily routine. Bill is/was so cheerful and it comes off the screen and infects everyone who watches him.
Bill was one of the most optimistic persons to have ever graced the airwaves. We are fortunate to have these videos to still see him and appreciate his words and art. He will always be the master of wet on wet painting.
This video has a lot of clarifications to new artists who want to start painting using wet on wet technique. Bill was and still a pure inspiration to me 🙏 , i just prepared a black canvas to dry over night , and I can't wait to wake up tomorrow to creat something beautiful ❤
Strangely I have been contemplating on creating a black canvas to paint as well for tomorrow! Great minds & artists must think alike. Jhope your painting turns better than you planned. Good luck. 🍀🎨
I've just come across Alexander for the first time and sad to read he is not with us , but he is an amazing artist and has the best attitude to life , he is teaching us much more than art R. I. P Mr Alexander 😀😀😀😀
At 16:25 you can really feel that he is extremely sincere in his outpouring of emotion. And that he really really wants to give us all his knowledge, experience & wisdom so we can be happy on earth as he was.......I love when he said It took him 40 years to be able to do it “too fast”.
He brings a great joy to everything! I love his happiness, it's a great start to my day. Learning to paint is a bonus. It would have been great to meet him in person. He seems like an amazing person!
What a stunning painting. Bill was a beautiful person, and he really appreciated the creation. I love his way of teaching. Thank you for posting this demonstration.
bill now i understand you alot better this video is one of the best yet ; and this is why we love this guy;; thank you who ever is doing the uploading !!!!this man has more heart and wisdom than im afraid i will ever have!!!!!!!!!
I love Bill and watching him paint. Don’t get me wrong, I like watching Bob Ross too, BUT Bill just has something that I miss from Bob. Bill has Soul, Spirit!! His painting have such heart ❤️. Bob seems a bit more mechanical. Bill’s paintings have more expressive technique. Do you know what I mean, anyone else feel that way? I like when he ends his show he says “I Love You”. 😍
Thanks so much ; I love your attitude I love people like you😆 you always look very sharp thanks and God bless you, you are the best, the paint is beutiful
Back in the day alot of high society painters didnt take him serious. Bill really was struggling with his art to be taken serious. Now, almost 30 years later we still love him. What a lovely human being and such a joy to watch him paint time and again. #TheAlmightyStroke
I am struggling to afford the paints and equipment, after being made redundant. When I get some money I will try to purchase his equipment. He has inspired me through these very tough times. What a teacher and great talent.
Both Bill and Bob have it very correct with thin paint on top of thin paint because this one TH-camr tried to paint the Wet on Wet method using very cheap oil paint and he was becoming a mud mixer very easily and then he used very expensive oil paint and it was a huge difference. With me I get my ideas from both Bill and Bob for my paintings and then I put my own twist on it. Also it is nice to see new Bill Alexander videos because I just stated on this one persons video how Bob's channel has the complete series of his show on there and handful of Bill Alexander episodes on his channel.
Im so grateful that I got to watch this years later on here. I think whats crazy about this one is, if you take out most of his talking he knocked that painting out in around 15mins?!
Incorrect. It is made using a solid white oil based paint (bill alexander and bob ross used titanium white but you can use any) and linseed oil. Mix both until you get a creamy consistency like lotion.
I don’t think he did anything wrong, we all have people we emulate but you can see where Bob Ross got his style. Which makes me happy and should have made Mr Alexander happy that his legacy continued.
@@AL_THOMAS_777 Do you know where eden is? or just assumed by others teaching? Have you done your homework yet who you are? Or waiting others to do it for you?
Forget about the painting, the first minute and 45 seconds are words of wisdom. I need this inspiration every day. Thank you Mr. Alexander

Bill Alexander is priceless when he talks. Love it!!!!
In total agreement with those who want more of these videos...Bill was so talented and his words of wisdom and ability to teach have blessed me.
William was a beautiful human being. It was a true loss to the world when he passed away. At least we have these videos to remember him by. Thank you.
When did he die?
Nevermind. Just went to Google. He died in 1997.
That sky is amazing!!!!
at the end "thank you for watching me, i love you", he is the best person ever lol
Thank you. Bill always makes us feel better.

But I like both was well. :)

I need to tell you! That you are the best!!! I love you
Bill Alexander is an underrated artist. Mostly because he is overshadowed by Bob Ross.
Great video
Really enjoy the way you explain things and it is a pleasure to watch and learn from your videos. Brian in SouthAfica. god bless.

Thanks to Bill great guy and teacher.Like Bob Ross also. Many people missed him I'm sure

What would be the best brand of paint for the price.
I love you too bill!
Wow, this is gorgeous.
Love and miss this man! Only an idiot would give him a thumbs down!!!
Very nice
I love him............................................
The best!!!
How long he talks and how little he paints! it's incredible he makes this in like 15 minutes..
What is a magic white? How is made can you buy it ?
It's white paint and turpentine. Very strong smell but effective
Jakethe Snake They have changed the components. No smell now. Bob Ross formula doesn’t smell, either
@@jakethesnake1366 Any white?

Doug G the beautiful thing is that Bill’s legacy continues through thousand and thousands of artists.
Not taking anything away from Bob Ross, but Bill appears to have more diversity of color in his paintings.
What size canvas DOES he use? Looks 30x30
18×24 is the size he used.
@@richardalmeida3147 looks bigger. TY
So basically Bill was support the idea, that we, have the power of the almighty one?. If im correct.
Basically we are created in God's image - meaning we have a lot of his attributes. One of those attributes is creativity.

Y’all know this was Bob Ross’s mentor. He got pissed at Ross for “ betraying “ him

I'm sure his brother is Wolfganf Puck
Is this Bob Ross's teacher?
Yup !
Half way through this particular video, explains everything about how and why he took on Bob Ross and taught him all he knew...
