I love those. I'm new to tumblers and I haven't had very good luck with making the waves on other projects but I really want to try this. These beach tumblers are so pretty and the glitters are gorgeous. Thank you.
This is a great tip about going from light to dark when applying the epoxy! I am getting ready to try to make my first beach tumbler and this is a wonderful tutorial!
I try to follow your instructions and my tumbler didn't came out exactly like your but it's pretty close and is beautiful ❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge
beautiful! I love making beach cups too. I've never put alcohol ink on the water portion but live the way it looks with the waves. I will definitely try that next time!
Like shiny? It’s the epoxy I use! It make sure everything is nice and smooth for my last coat of epoxy. I just hand wash with soap and water and dry off with a towel.
Your cup is beautiful. I really like this tutorial too. Very helpful. I have a question though. How do you get these to not have ridges all down them after you blow dry them?
Thank you so much! I put 1-2 more coats of epoxy on them after I make the waves. If it is lumpy or I still have bumps, I sand and re-coat with epoxy :)
Please help! I cannot find the right size adjustable foam insert to use for a 20oz skinny while turning on my cup turner to apply resin. I ordered a whole pack of them and they are just to big to fit inside the cups. What do you use for you skinny tumblers? The ones I received are either too big or too small.
If you click on the video, there’s a link for the inserts I use. You might have to manhandle it and shove them in there. What shape tumbler are you using?
Thank you for replying!Tall skinny . The top lip opening is smaller then the tumbler . So the inserts are so hard to get in then when they go in they are loose.
@janinemorris6508 ohhhh that’s weird! All of my skinnies are the same circumference inside. I buy mine from thestainlesssteeldepot.com You could try a pool noodle!
@@glitteringthecoast I just looked at the ones you use . I see they are the same size around the top lids Something l have to be aware of. My husband helped me stuff in the inserts. 😂 thank you . I will order from the website you use. I just do this for fun and gifts.
A few reasons. 1. I hate sanding chunky in the bottom and sides of the bottom. I try to do fine on the bottom whenever I can. 2. I like the way it looks.. personal preference. I do have a medium size gold I use sometimes but still prefer fine.
@@glitteringthecoast QR code. Did have to purchase that first, then put it into the design program that you have? There’s so many websites of QR codes not sure who to trust yet
I am confused I very much love your video/ your tutorial but I am very confused by the amount of resin you say you're using at the end coding. You're using 20 oz of resin on the 20 oz glass and 30 oz of resin on the 30 Oz glass ? That is an awful lot of resin!
Out of all the tutorials I've watched for beach tumblers.. yours, by far, is the BEST!! Thank you for being so detailed! It helped me tremendously!
Whaaaat! That is so nice. Thank you so much for commenting. That made my day! I have more videos coming out but have been busy with my real job.
I really enjoy the way you teach. Thank you
Thank you for the nice compliment!

I like using the medium heat setting in a blow dryer with the velocity on a low ish setting. I just get better waves that way. Good luck with it!

Glad I could help! This was a looong video and was one of the first ones that I edited myself lol hope you have success on your beach tumbler!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Great work !!
Thank you :)

I am so glad you found something new to try! It just gives it another pop of dimension and color. Thank you for watching ❤️
Very cool!!
Thank you :)
I'm new to tumbling and your videos are by far the easiest to follow and understand. Did you make your tumbler spinner?
Yay thank you! I am so glad. My husband did!
How many coats of resin do you use in between the glitter before applying the alcohol inks and expect additive?
Hello, how are you 😊 I love watching your videos, I'm from Brazil.... Give me a tip on where I can buy the glasses so I can resin them, thank you ☺️

Hello!!
I have a link in my bio for tumblers. If they don’t ship internationally, try Amazon! I use 20oz and 30oz skinny tumblers.
Okay you have the cleanest cuts I've seen yet when you are finished how do you keep them so clean?????

Thank you! They’re my absolute favorite design to make!
Awesome tutorial!!!
Thank you! I have learned from the best! Tried to put my own spin on it :)

What is the tool with handle that you put inside the tumblers so you can hold and turn it while you add the glitter? They also stand up. I need that
Pvc 😂 Foam inserts are listed in the description too. You’ll need that for sure.
Have you also done any different kinds of tumblers like snacks on it like donuts & cookies & milk & kolaches or any Christian cups as we'll
I have sublimated a Christian cup. I have not doing snacks although I have donut vinyl I want to try. I haven’t found any donut sprinkles to use.

Yes, they will loosen up some the more you use them!
What do you make your branding stickers with?
I use printable sticker paper.
Why did you fine glitter on bottom and chunky on top?
A few reasons. 1. I hate sanding chunky in the bottom and sides of the bottom. I try to do fine on the bottom whenever I can. 2. I like the way it looks.. personal preference. I do have a medium size gold I use sometimes but still prefer fine.
How long do you wait to use epoxy after adding the glitter?
You wait until your epoxy is dried. My liquidy split is about 2 hours.
You mention spraying with rust-oleum 2x clear matte. I only have 2x clear gloss. Can I use it or skip that step?
@Belle21137 it seals the glitter so that it doesn’t move. You don’t have to but I recommend sealing it somehow :)
I'm excited and nervous to try making one!
Hi where do you get your alcohol inks??
It is linked in my description! ❤️
Qrc what website did you use for this sticker on the bottom of your tumblers?
What does Qrc mean? I made the stickers myself in my silhouette program. Please let me know if I didn’t answer your question.

@@michealbalistreri1680 I used flowcode. It was free and didn’t need to download anything to use it. :)
Where do you sell them? Do you sell them online?
I work as a full time hair stylist so I sell them at my shop. I also have a Facebook group that I sell items from.
Do you have to pay a fee to sell them on Facebook? Like Etsy does?@glitteringthecoast

It was one of my first videos so I messed up a lot. Learning as I go lol I meant 20oz tumbler gets 20ml epoxy. 30oz tumbler gets 30ml epoxy.
Respirator....!!!
I have yet to find one that doesn’t kill my neck. I have major neck issues. Do you have a recommendation?
Do you have a link for the glitter?

What is your Facebook page. Glittering The Coast doesn’t show by searching. Thanks.
