I feel like Katherine H and Jane had one of the worst lives Howard for obvious reasons. But Jane knew that she wasn’t going to be there for her baby. She was alive for a couple more days before dying. Imagine giving 9 months of your life away to stay indoors just to keep that child growing inside of you safe. And you going through that trouble you give birth. Then you lay in your bed with an untreated infection probably knowing you’re gonna die and know that you’re going not going to see your baby grow up. That’s just heartbreaking to me. This is really good I love how in Jane Seymours intro, they mention that if she hadn't had Edward then maybe she wouldn't have been the love of his life and how she stood by him when he did do stuff that wasn't very nice. Thank you for posting this ❤
To me, her story and song would always had that bittersweet taste, she loved him, and supposedly he loved her back for giving him an heir, but maybe there's more of it, just a lil, maybe a true love. She's the only one still loved him while the others don't, highly because people says she didn't lived long enough to see his bad side, but listening to this song, I could imagine she will and would still be with him if she wasn't dead, took care of her son to be a good king and so on, idk how to explain it, it's just sweet when you listen to her sweet love confession but it's also bitter in so many ways, idk Jane deserve better please.
