Okay. I just imagined this scene and got straight chills for about a minute. So imagine the first half of the song is Jane and Henry going through the pregnancy hopeful. And then at some point she ends up in a bed because she's too weak to move after losing so much energy from the pushing. (Let's say that happens at 3:49) And then in this time, the singer gets out of the bed and takes whatever fake belly they're wearing off and is replaced by another person in the bed. And when she belts the note for the key change, the lights come back on and she is standing in the front of the stage, singing to the audience with a spotlight. At some point she ends up going over to the bed where her body is and watches Henry mourn while holding her son. Big sad. The singer now represents the spirit of herself. Boom. Chills Edit: Hi me from the future 4/27/21. So I did some research afterwards and pretty sure she didn't get a C Section. Let's just say that instead of that, she gives birth successfully but ends up dying soon afterwards, with the hand scene still in.

@@melissam597 I doubt Henry would really care about how good of a queen Elizabeth would be, as he didn't *just* want a child that would be a good ruler, he specifically wanted a son. I love that Jane’s (“The only one he truly loved”) song is much calmer and prettier than the other girls’ songs. It’s like the real love that she felt for him calmed and supported him while she was alive.
I'm glad I watched them after grade 7 social studies class cause I would've been so confused with all of the history inside jokes. I'm glad I got to know the American's side of the war cause we studied on the British. I'm also glad I learned more about the wives cause my teacher merely said that Henry was a pretty douchey guy who had 6 wives (if not more if I recall).
@@_Paint_brush_000 Well, he only had six wives as far as I know. However, he also had many, many mistresses. I hear he was planning on taking a seventh wife before he died. Now, I’m no historian so take all of this with a grain of salt.
I just realized: when she says "something inside, it solidified" it could mean her heart of "stone", but what if she was talking about her son growing inside her?
That’s what I love about musical theater (and art in general)! Different elements can be interpreted in many different ways. I really like that interpretation because it indicates to me that she stayed more for her son than for Henry.

when I first listened to this song, I thought she was kinda.. clingy and upset all the time, but after the second time I listened I started really feeling it and I even cried when I watched Six live
This song always makes me think of my last boss she was a very kind woman but was in a very toxic relationship she knew he was bad for her but he was all she ever knew so she stayed. When I left to thought I hope you find the strength to leave one day I hope wherever she is I hope she’s happy. ❤
It's a completely different feel/tone, but musically this always reminds me of the start of "From Now On" from The Greatest Showman. Especially the octaves in the piano at the end of the phrases.
I can't help but imagine Padmè singing this song to Anakin. Saying that she loves him no matter what, but dying before she can see her children grow. I'm gonna go cry now.

This is one of the few songs that I instantly start crying no matter what context or where I hear it, and no, I don't mean getting teary-eyed, full on ugly sobbing. The only two other songs that manage to do that to me are proud corazon from Coco and I'm in Love with my best friend by a guy whom I don't remember his name.

I love that Jane’s (“The only one he truly loved”) song is much calmer and prettier than the other girls’ songs. It’s like the real love that she felt for him calmed and supported him while she was alive.
I'm only doing passing history because of six and Hamilton
Honestly, as I’ve listened to both those musicals I thought “Where were you guys when I needed you in high school?!”
@@avalasialove Huh, interesting dose of history facts, cool.
same
I just realized: when she says "something inside, it solidified" it could mean her heart of "stone", but what if she was talking about her son growing inside her?
This is a valid fucking question...
That’s what I love about musical theater (and art in general)! Different elements can be interpreted in many different ways. I really like that interpretation because it indicates to me that she stayed more for her son than for Henry.
@@avalasialove Yeah like in Six history can be changed to his story when it says “too many years lost in history”
@@avalasialove oh and they love counting " We're *1* of a kind, no category. *2* many years, lost in his story. We're *3* to take, our crowning glory. *4* *5* more minutes... WE'RE *6* "
Awwwww
Seymour?
More like Seymourn, Jesus this song is so good
Jesus this *joke* is nice.
I-
damn.
I just-.... I-... nvm

Me and my friends are performing six the musical as a video and I got the role of Jane Seymour! Have to practice this song and I’m glad to listen to it on repeat!
Edit: * people crying because of this song * * haus of Holbein entrance music * ( the people screaming ) ‘ IN ZE HAUS OF HOLBIEN!!’
Teary eyed after a song about fake love and a mother loving her son
WELCOME TO THE HAUS, TO THE HAUS OF HOLOBIN!
You can't quite appreciate this song until you hear it live... Such a stunning, beautiful and heartbreaking experience...
Best song on the soundtrack and you can't tell me otherwise.
Otherwise.
Otherwise.
I love all of them, but this one just struck me emotionally and really stuck with me, so I would have to give it the title of my favorite (but I loved the whole soundtrack and the finale was really outstanding)
Otherwise. Don’t lose your head is the absolute best.
Kinda otherwise. This and All You Wanna Do are tied for me.
Rest in peace, your majesty.
Song ends *begins contemplating life and dries tears*

I almost get "Speechless" from the live action Aladdin vibes from this song
The drum in the background sounds a bit like heartbeat, love that.
I didn't really like this song until I saw it live, she was so sweet and put so much emotion in her voice that it made the song feel completely different. Would love to see this live again it's magical!

This is our ballad for show choir this year
wow that's awesome! :) i'm singing this as a solo for our spring musical theatre broadway showcase
**Somebody who made No way and Dont loose ur head but wont do Heart of Stone because she didn’t like it**
Me: Hold my MegaSix for me.
i dont get it can u explain im soory im dumb
@@pikazardtnt6544 I'm thinking maybe they're talking about animatics, a lot of animation channels make animatics for musical songs, but maybe this specific animation youtuber wouldn't make an animatic for heart of stone. Could also be a cover channel that wouldn't sing a cover of heart of stone.
Music is objective, they don’t have to like it :D
I cry at the moment of the end
Beautiful and emotional song
This singer must get an Tony's award
I think you mean a Tony award. The Oscars are for movies.
Lyrics:
You've got a good heart
But I know it changes
A restless tide, untamable
You came my way, and I knew a storm could come too
You'd lift me high, or let me fall
But I took your hand, promised I'd withstand
Any blaze you blew my way
'Cause something inside, it solidified
And I knew I'd always stay
You can build me up, you can tear me down
You can try but I'm unbreakable
You can do your best, but I'll stand the test
You'll find that I'm unshakeable
When the fire's burnt
When the wind has blown
When the water's dried, you'll still find stone
My heart of stone
You say we're perfect
A perfect family
You hold us close, for the world to see
And when I say you're the only one I've ever loved
I mean those words truthfully
But I know
Without my son your love could disappear
I know it isn't fair, but I don't care
'Cause my love, will still be here
You can build me up, you can tear me down
You can try but I'm unbreakable
You can do your best, but I'll stand the test
You'll find that I'm unshakeable
When the fire's burnt
The wind has blown
The water's dried, you'll still find stone
My heart of stone
Soon I'll have to go
I'll never see him grow
But I hope my son will know
He'll never be alone
'Cause like a river runs dry
And leaves it's scars behind
I'll be by your side
'Cause my love
Is set in stone
Yeahhh
(You can build me up, you can tear me down)
(You can try but I'm)
Unbreakable
(You can do your best, but I'll stand the test)
(You'll find that I'm unshakeable)
The fire's burnt
The wind has blown
The water's dried, you'll still find stone
My heart of stone
Can't break me
Can't break me
Stone
Can't break me
Can't break me
Stone
Can't break me
You'll still find stone
My heart of stone
I saw Six last night and was blown away. All wives were brilliant and Natalie Paris was outstanding. The voice of an Angel
I will dedicate this song to my father and his. Family for all the kisses that humiliated me, my mom and my younger brother for all the times I tear down for each of the tears that were shed for each of the blows and arguments that broke this family for the words and feelings that locked themselves in El Cajon of Oblivion and for my heart of stone in which the immense love I have for my father to whom I once had
This is one of my favorite songs in this show. I’d love to be in a musical like this one day
operation time travel and kill henry before he can get to any of the girl is a go
Operation: Save Henry s brother, if he dont die, there is no king henry VIII.
Well that means no Elizabeth I
That means no SIX
we'll probably get caught and die 😭
But that would mean no Elizabeth, my namesake and one of England's greatest Monarchs. At least kill him before he can get Catherine Howard.
Ok but this line hits hard:
"soon I'll have to go..."
*"I'll never see him grow..."*
when I first listened to this song, I thought she was kinda.. clingy and upset all the time, but after the second time I listened I started really feeling it and I even cried when I watched Six live
This song always makes me think of my last boss she was a very kind woman but was in a very toxic relationship she knew he was bad for her but he was all she ever knew so she stayed. When I left to thought I hope you find the strength to leave one day I hope wherever she is I hope she’s happy. ❤
Watched this live yesterday and its so much more powerful watching Natalie perform this in person is so much more moving.
JUST PERFORMED THIS FOR MY CABARET 🤍💪 my parents said it was my best performance ever!🥹

Right there.
Tears flow
I love this song so much
Lovely Jane Seymour was three,
The love of a lifetime for me.
She gave me a son, little Prince Ed,
Then, poor old Jane, went and dropped dead.
Oh boy whit out that song Six wouldn't even be here lol
good POEM BUT, It makes me sad :(
@@xia8601 lol it’s not mine it’s from Horrible Histories. It’s the Henry VIII song.
Anne of Cleeves came at four,
I fell for the portrait I saw,
Then laid eyes on her face and cried,
“She’s a horse! I must have another divorce.”
This song is so sweet! I love the emotion in this song! It really pops!😊
I love the part like a riverrr!! 3:29
It's a completely different feel/tone, but musically this always reminds me of the start of "From Now On" from The Greatest Showman. Especially the octaves in the piano at the end of the phrases.
This is my feel good song. I listened to it after my grandma passed away😢
im dancing to this song for my ballet recital and when i heard it, it just hit hard
Hearing this life is a lot more hard-hitting and it will leave leave you into tears I had that experience already Heart of Stone is very emotional
I LOVE THIS SONG!
She is the best. Her pitch perfection out beats!
this is the reason why his husband love her the most I also love her the most on six
We had this in our marching band show this year. Had no idea it was actually from SIX
Our show was named Heart of Stone
I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH it’s amazing
My favourite song from Six.
Just saw the musical today with Amina Faye as Jane and my God what a powerhouse she gave me legit CHILLS
Am I the only one who didn't cry while listening to this? Yes? *Does that make me an emotionless person?*
no I ddnt cry
i did a whole deep dive on the tudors because of SIX, i did the same for hamilton too lmao
I can't help but imagine Padmè singing this song to Anakin. Saying that she loves him no matter what, but dying before she can see her children grow.
I'm gonna go cry now.

...WELCOME TO THE HAUS- TO THE HAUS OF HOLBEIN!
Phillpa soo is destined to play her in six
YES!
Yessss Pippa could be really great as Jane, I mean calm voice, kind persona and especially ✨Eliza✨ but I like Natalie Paris and Abby Mueller as Jane better
The way she suffered… I could never imagine going through what she went through… 😢
This is one of the few songs that I instantly start crying no matter what context or where I hear it, and no, I don't mean getting teary-eyed, full on ugly sobbing. The only two other songs that manage to do that to me are proud corazon from Coco and I'm in Love with my best friend by a guy whom I don't remember his name.
Finally, ive been waiting for seymourrr
Yeah me to and then her song is over too soon
I did all high notes and i'm shook 😳
You are so lucky to have that good of a range ;-; I could never-
nice job 0o0
I've had to stretch my vocals for a while to hit those
This is what I expected when I went to see the play in Newcastle. But I also loved the play the way it is.
Me: how is this song emotional?
*Few hours later*
Me: *sobbing, sweating, gagging, crying, and flooding my floor*

This is my favorite song out of the 6❤. My #1 Six song is either the intro or the ending with all of them singing together
I love this song. It makes me sob. Jane Seymour was probably the only one who had a happy marriage.
This is by far my favorite Six musical song. I love it and it gives me strength.❤❤❤
This song reminds me of Non Stop playing after Dear Theodosia-
Omg I love this song I was at one of your shows I love all the crew❤❤❤
Natalie so underrated. ❤️ Massive Fan. X
MY HEART OF STONEEEEEEE
CANT BREAK MEE
I like how she even said to henry he's got a good heart after what he did to Catherine A. and Anne B. ,and the fact she loves him but he doesn't love him back as much as she does cause Henry only loves her for the Son
Edit: And he didn't even took good care of that son he got from her.
I love Jane she's the most underrated when among all the six members so I loveeeeeeee Jane💙
Wow I slept on this song for wayyyy too long since when has it been so good????
Thank you for this SIx!
