Do you have to pay your cellular company monthly for the internet access and the sim card? I use Verizon and never heard of that option.

@@dave_mac Yes, there is a service fee through AT&T for the 4G LTE.

i just got an ATT lenovo 300e gen 3. so far so good. i have a tomtoc edc bag i got to carry my ipad and steamdeck but don't always wanna carry my ipad so i got this. also since its like 419 bucks vs 349 for a magic keyboard. i just can't justify that. i had one on my air but the pro 12.9 is a fortune lol. this is my netbook spiritual successor. perfect size for day to day carry.

    Brett,
Thanks for this.... Is there a way to make it where the parent does not need to sign in with their password for the child to use the computer each and every time? When ever the computer goes to sleep I have to be around or home for my son to use the chrome book because not only does it need a code but my sign in for my own google account too.
Dont like that. How to avoid?

They should have their own sign in that they know the password to. You can adjust some of the sign in options in the app if you want them to be able to sign in on new devices without you. Any requests for your password beyond that can be done through the Family Link app and is only to approve new websites or games that have never used before.
Have you set time limited? I'm wondering if it is asking for your password to unlock the profile because it doesn't have a time allotment.

Hey @TechWithBrett I got a question. I have a Acer chrome os chromebook laptop 512. The ? My chromebook laptop isnt compatible with the amazon shopping and buying app is there a way that I could install the app on my acer Chromebook laptop without linux or the terminal command line. Just wondering if its even possible..?

Is there a website for that? If it is not in the Play Store you could also find the APK for the app and try to install it.
