    I didn’t realize I hadn’t actually watched this video for some reason. It’s very nice to see your style growing as it has, especially with your dedication to symmetry and attention to detail. Me and a friend have made a world and are building it in your style, we really enjoy it. Making these kind of factory structures together on a platform makes it look like a small city, it’s amazing!
    Thank you for the wonderful video.

    Greetings Pioneer,
    i have seen u build the same conveyor bus belttowers like i do.
    i go for this setup to reduce the amount of towers:
    Tower -> 6 Foundations (place conveyorwall) -> 5 Foundations -> Tower
    On each Tower you can place a Powerpole in the middle. Has the perfect lenght to each other.
    Works also with Wallmount Powerconnectors.
    After placing the conveyor belts, you can delete the connecting Foundations and the middle Conveyorwall.
    Looks great with floating belts and keeps the whole factory look clean.
    Wish you the best. :)

    I built this in vanilla and it was a task! Took me a few hours (interrupted) to complete. Thanks for the guide it's awesome! Where can I send you some pics of the build? Also - if you got a shirt/hoddie designed that was something like - Time to make a sandwich - with platforms as bread and assembly lines between - I would totes buy one. Edit: One thing I'd like to see is making walkways and ramps for navigating your style of factory. More aesthetic than functional, but it might help the vanilla players in their build to see it.

  • @WintersBe
    @WintersBe ปีที่แล้ว

    To make this 100% efficient (in terms of power usage that is, the output technically already is because of the 1:1 ratio's) you should probably slighty underclock the foundries (by 11.111%). As by default they expect 45/min input and it's only 40 (because of splitting the 240 by 6). Or overclock the miners and the constructors to 112.5% but then you need Mk.3 belts from the foundry outputs to the constructors. And its probably not worth it in terms of output vs power usage (16.75 vs 15 beams/m and 22.5 v 20 pipes/m), so I would just underclock.
    Great video's, I'm following most of them for my own playthrough, you have a neat build style!

    Heyo, really liking your factory style! It's super artistic and clean. Something I would suggest to grow your channel is to maybe start a series with a new world where you go through the game only building these modular factories. Making it personal and more "story-driven" where people can follow your progress might get you more subscribers and viewers (people love stories). You could call it like "Playing through Satisfactory ONLY building modular factories" or something like that. This is just my two cents on how I think you could grow your audience. :)

I feel this produces so much steel that more complex/lower output factories would never drain the storage buffer. Especially with the amount of coal and iron this place requires. if you overclock the miners you can use the full load capacity of the MK3 belts at 270 instead of 240. Thus giving you 45 steel ingots from each foundry instead of 40. Not sure if that makes any difference higher up in the chain though :)

    • @Scalti

      It does. That’s why I don’t use the full belt capacity.

  • @TSPxEclipse
    @TSPxEclipse 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've found that it's WAY simpler to load balance the coal and iron ores if you have both materials entering from both ends. Only requires 12 splitters and super simple belts of appropriate speed, and it fits perfectly in in halves with each end of the building supplying each side of foundries.

    Your videos are the most useful of any Satisfactory [guides/tips/tricks] I have seen, the modular 3x7 vertical factory style is actually manageable even without fly! given proper scaffolding. I keep seeing mega-bases and sprawling showcase factories that I could never do in the free time I have to play this game. These compact factories allow more versatility to schlubs like myself and to make transportation to advanced systems factories down the line without full tear-downs. I copied your Modular Frame factory to get a feel for the style and was so pleased.

    Hello Scati, I am actually having 1 issue with ur build (Btw love the videos!) Anyways, if you cant answer then it is what it is. The issue I am having is in regards to the walls you start putting down at 14:21. Now I a made the sandwich layer exactly like yours but when I put the walls down it doesnt go flush like yours. I used the 8 x 1's with the 2 spaces in between empty , but my wall covers 1 more space above. Anyways I hope you can help me in regards to this, and if there is a way I can show you my issue I will! Thank you again for the videos! Actually never mind , I read the comment below and it got me thinking . SO the solution I did was actually made 1 more 8X1 under ur sandwich layer to use that as my foundation to get the wall in sync with ur sandwich layer.

    • @Scalti
      @Scalti  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In some instances you can’t build the extra 8x1 below. Solution is to build a wall on the top foundation and then aim at the lower part of the wall to set the snapping point and that second lower wall will be flush.

      Should be stated vocally at the beginning and it’s also in the description of each video.

  • @Snake1257

    I don't know if I missed it in the video, but I thought I'd point it out. I was wondering why he used MK2 Belts per foundry line and not MK3 as the standard ratio per foundry is 45 Steel Ingots/min. giving you 135 per min. output. I underclocked each foundry to output a max. of 40 Steel Ingots/min. giving the stated 120 per line. You could run it at 135 per min. but then you'd clog the system and it wouldn't run 100% effecient. It had me confused for a bit there. Apologies if it is indeed stated in the video and I just missed it.
    Mind you I am following this in 2023, so maybe the devs changed the ratio of the foundry since this video went up.

    • @Scalti
      @Scalti  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Each foundry is only processing 40/min of their 45 total. So input is 120 and means the output is 120.

    I like to make the sandwich layer duplicated to have more space and to be able to put both inputs and outputs in it. there is no splitter or merger on the machine floor.

    Love the videos. Have used several of your builds and have based a lot of my other factories off of your technique. Is it a mod to make the machines default that black and white color? So much better than the orange. Thank you for the content!

    Hi. Thank you for all your hard work. It is appreciated. I have a question on your Scalti Steel Factory megaprint. I installed it on my world. I hooked up the outputs running into storage. The factory immediately began producing steel pipe and steel beams WITHOUT any inputs or power hookups. As much as I like something for nothing, this seems like a bit of a spoiler for game play.

    • @Scalti
      @Scalti  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Whomever shared that, recreated the factory from my guide and distributed the print of it without my knowing. Sorry you had that experience.

    Hey Scalti, I love your videos!!!! I enjoy building my own styles, but yours are so clean, I haven't found a way to make mine as good. I have modified this though to use floor holes instead of the conveyor holes. So I have one question... you are running 3 foundries per belt on the first part... but you said they each produce 45... so that's 135 per belt.... and you are saying to use Mk2s... so that cuts off 15 per belt.

    • @Scalti
      @Scalti  ปีที่แล้ว

      They can produce up to 45 / min but they’re only putting out 40. 12 is easier than 10 to load balance.

      I generally tend to leave that up to the player since everyone has a different approach to storage and what not.

    There is a lot less spaghetti for the foundry and it is a lot easier if you route one iron and one coal from each side. That way you don't have to cross anything in the middle.

    Do the foundrys need to be at 89%, even with MK 3 belts and lifts? Seems like my steel pipes don't have a consistant flow of Ingots to reach 80 per minute, even though everything is set up exactly, except the 89%.
