Yes the rubber is damaged but that's because the person that gave it to me had it sitting in his bag for a long period of time. that's what could've caused the damage.

Yes there is a difference, the Orange sponge version is harder than the blue sponge, also yes they do have this rubber in blue sponge on those websites.
Todd Fee I haven't tried a lot of different gear but sriver was fine. I tend to play fast ... I remember Friendship had very grippy stuff but they were too dry and unrefined. What would be your best recommendation? I guess I like to mix it up too. Maybe have too different rubbers for red and black
Itube typically in today's style of play it is much faster than it was fifteen years ago. So I do recommend trying the newer rubbers to adjust to the new style of play. You say you tend to mix your style up a bit. Are you more of an attacker? Defender? All around?
Attacker. A lot of forhand topspins and sharp backhand flicks and drives too but I like to slow down and improve my control like Timo Boll ... I think Tenergy 5 might be a good one but I'd rather not pay the price of a premium product since I don't play very frequently.

Itube if you like forehand topspins try a Chinese rubber such has hurricane. If you want an alternative to tenergy try galaxy moon.
