Alright, take my money. I don't think I'll be able to live without one after seeing how cool and compact this little piece of marvelous engineering is. Their are semi common RC planes this size and larger. It'd be awesome to show up at the local RC aviation club and suprise everyone by being inside what they assumed was my RC plane and wave at them as I buzz off the runway leaving them wondering if it was areal person in the cockpit or if it was a well crafted lookalike.

Almost 50 years around and still superb, and it´s capable of acrobatic flight... Amazing little bird. There´s a twin jet powered version and an electrical experimental as well.

It is tiny, but it flies! I like it! An engineer who designed it made a perfect miniaturization work, and made it cheap and simple enough for a DIY project, furthermore it is reliable, to put all of that into such compact and simple package is the great job!

If I saw one of these unattended I would attempt to fly it I’m just being honest.. I mean sure it’d be nice if i had my pilot’s license and actual experience but all that REALLY matters is that if I ever see one I’m taking it lol i just love this thing. 126mph cruise speed that must feel amazing

Why. You guys sound like a bunch of candy asses. I'd almost bet that if you are decently hand/eye coordinated and can adapt to any kind of machinery when you first try something new. "Like most men" Then I don't see any reason why this would be any problem. Especially if you have had some past RC flying experience or some flying experience. Im sure it's controls are straight forward and not so complex in a sence that you have to be a rocket scientist to fly it. Try being open minded for once and have a little faith in yourself before naysaying so quickly. You may suprise yourself as to your capabilities. And you could be correct and crash and die. But you never know until you try. I'm a tryer. And luckily "Knock on wood" not much of a dier, although I've had a few close calls lol

Я придумал 2х крылый с поплавками-лыжами, одномоторный, но очень похожий на этот. Модель сделал, для испытания схемы аппарата, но движок Марс запустить не удалось. Конечно это детские мечты, но даже кое-какие материалы начал собирать. Смешно. А тут, как-будто моя детская мечта сбылась. Здорово. Видимо и моя схема реальная.(была бы) Да.😐

This plane was designed Eathan hunt in mind. If engines start to fail in mid-air, pilot needs to come out of the cabin and start the lawn mower.
Amazing little aircraft not the prettiest by far but effective, designed in the early 1970s by a french guy Michel coloban. Has piston engines and jet versions available, this one i believe are single cylnder 11kw engines giving over 400lbs of trust / pushing power and a range of 350 miles ish depending on power and weather. Hey its better than walking that and probably far safer than driving on most roads today.

Fantastic. Gave me a rush watching that take off and thankyou so much for not adding music as everybody else feels compelled to do. Here is a tip to steady your camera when you zoom in, hang a folded tripod from it while you are filming or if you are using a phone camera just clamp or tape a stick to hang down from it then just let the hanging weight steady the camera. I wish I was young enough to try that though, what an amazing little aircraft.

I cannot find any reports of cri cri aircraft that experienced structural failure under normal flying conditions. There have been 7 fatalities in cri cri aircraft but 5 of them have been attributed to flying recklessly/past the rated performance envelope.
All in all, You are probably safer flying this airplane then you are commuting on a motorcycle.

ARCANOLILO...... This micro plane is Not a "dangerous invention" whatsoever. The CriCri has been around for nearly 40 yrs, now and there have been thousands, built an flown around the world and even used by precision aerobatic flight teams... and it has a stellar safety record.
