looks nice, we have a junk chinese 24 volt trimmer here, ok for my wife doing soft grass but worthless on weeds, that did a great edge, looks so nice. i liked the sound of the motor
7-2024 - Bought new 18V brushless Ryobi metal blade trimmer from HD....and after about 10 mins of normal operation of lite edging - unit just stopped working. This is the 2nd Ryobi within months I have purchased that was defective in some way...so I will never be purchasing a Ryobi lawn product again. Their tools may be ok but not lawn trimmers for me.
That is not very good reliability. Will add that mine has done good, up until last week, the plastic guide assy fell apart. (Not sure what to call the part). Anyway was able to modify it and get it back to action. I do hate all these Plastic parts.
@@MemphisMower My first day today and the blade was visibly filed down from a 5 min edging of the front yard. I never changed the blade in over two years using my 2 in 1 multi head craftsman gas unit 🤯. I love the electric though and I like the Ryobi, it just doesnt have a guide which is very weird to me.

From what I experoenced, the blade always hits the side of the concrete because their is no guide .
