Was able to get this working using the latest unity engine, and the XOOrigin instead of AR. 99% of it is still exactly the same. Only thing I would ask in the videos, is slow down a breath between changes so we can actually see what is being done. I had to play a couple sections more than a few times to understand what was actually being done. Thank you either way.. this helped me get much further in this area. :)
Excellent stuff, many thanks - my one misstep when building and running this was that my wee dragon was flying about the place facing downwards; but then I realised that it was because I'd scanned my monitor for the GoT pic (which is of course vertical) instead of scanning the image on a horizontal plane - when I did that, all was well 😎

Not really sure why that is happening. There could be multiple reasons, The best advice now would be for you to retry it from scratch, there will be some steps that you might have missed.

GOT image is an asset already, how do I scan image and get the game started? And how do I close down the app and then run it again? Is the computer always needed or the app is on the phone now? This is actually an AR application. You can open the image on another device and scan it using the device you build the apk into. You can exit the app like you do with any other app. Nope, you don't need a computer once it's built onto a phone.

great video but I need help, for an hour i was confused why dragon is not showing up on scanning the photo but than i realise it deployed but in a very small size and the offset is way too much from the image as i want the summoning of the dragon just above on the image but it is not happening as considering {the offset is -0.01 still it is summoning far away from image and is there any way we can test our AR in unity itself as it is difficult ot test it on phone everytime , like emvironment where we can test our AR app in unity can you make video on this and why my dragon spawn is offset from image can you please answer this in the comment .Thank you

Hi, the setup for iPhone is slightly different, instead of AR Core you need to check ARKit. Also, you need a Mac to build it to iso, you cannot use a Windows pc.

Yes its compatible with AR (Galaxy S20 FE) it is in the list. The joystic is visible camera is able to view the surroundings but when I focus towards the image , there is no response. I am very happy to get immediate reply. @@immersiveinsiders
There could be several reasons, make sure your device supports AR core, make sure you have enabled AR core in the XR plugin management, if you are using URP there are some additional steps you need to take.
I'm planning to create this for my college tech fest. I want to add a model feature like we have a record 360 view of a person from our phone then their 3d model will generated and then we can control them through joystick. Can you help me in this
What you want to do is possible but it's complex. You'll not be able to create a person's 3D model from a 360 video. There are some software you can use like Luma but not all phones are supported. After you get the 3D model you need to rig them manually using Blender. Then you can import it into unity. Use Mixamo animation, add it to the 3D model, and then finally you'll be able to control it.
Hi, when we use Amazon shopping app or any other app which provide "AR view" feature, we place our phone's camera on the floor and click on the image from the app. In the next step, a augmented object is created and appear on the screen. Is there any role of the phone on creating this augmented experience or it just the App server which creates the augmented effect and just sends to the app? Could you give any idea on this. Please reply, I need this for my college project.
What they are using is something called WebXR and embedded that in their app. So to answer the model is coming from the server but it uses your phone’s sensor and computing augment.
I am not sure how to fix that since I don't use MAC, however, google suggests that you need to have Android Studio downloaded. Maybe you can check out more on that.

Yeah, it's possible. You need to have a fireball effect in place. Add a UI button and use the 'OnClick' property from the button component to play the effect.

When I run the application on my phone, it says I need to update Google Play services, but when I try to update it, it gives the error that it is not suitable for the phone. I tried it on 2 phones, it gives the same error on both of them. Is this error related to phones or can I fix it from Unity?
Hi bro, in my unity I only have XR Origin, there is no AR session origin, are the two the same? After I tried using XR Origin and extracted it to .apk, the display only turned black and all that was visible was the joystick. please help

AR is relatively easier to learn when compared to VR. You can start by understand how Unity works and basic C# programming. Then you can learn about AR Foundation and AR core which are supported on android devices. And with all these knowledge you'll be able to make an AR application.

@@vishaldewangan9393 right now there is no budget AR headset. All are quite expensive. The best right now would be Quest 2/ Quest 3 and development for mixed reality.
ARcore XR Plugin is being enabled and XR plugin Management is also being enabled but after I press on bulit and run its just showing me a blank screen on my mobile and Im not able to scan the image...I have double checked that ARCore XR Plugin is enabled . Note really! the headset should support google core and obviously you'll need to configure it with hand tracking as well.

How do you go to image tracking immediately after giving build and run
The app will automatically open on your phone and request the camera permission. Once you grant the access you can start with the image tracking.

Haven't tired much of Vuforia actually, so I am not sure about the fix.

I am using a MAC Book and I am unable to connect my android phone to the macbook and it is not appearing in the devices.. what can I do?
I am not sure how to fix that since I don't use MAC, however, google suggests that you need to have Android Studio downloaded. Maybe you can check out more on that.

When I run the application on my phone, it says I need to update Google Play services, but when I try to update it, it gives the error that it is not suitable for the phone. I tried it on 2 phones, it gives the same error on both of them. Is this error related to phones or can I fix it from Unity?

You can use the same code logic but you need to use ARKit plugin instead of AR Core and use XCode for scripting

Hi bro, in my unity I only have XR Origin, there is no AR session origin, are the two the same? After I tried using XR Origin and extracted it to .apk, the display only turned black and all that was visible was the joystick.

Yes, they are the same. Maybe you have not enabled AR Core in the XR Plugin Manager. Can you check that?

AR is relatively easier to learn when compared to VR. You can start by understand how Unity works and basic C# programming. Then you can learn about AR Foundation and AR core which are supported on android devices. And with all these knowledge you'll be able to make an AR application.

ARcore XR Plugin is being enabled and XR plugin Management is also being enabled but after I press on bulit and run its just showing me a blank screen on my mobile and Im not able to scan the image...I have double checked that ARCore XR Plugin is enabled . Could you please help to resolve my problem....and I even want to know how to scan the image, I mean can we forward the image file to others and open it then will we be able to scan the image

There’s only way you can debug you app. Follow the steps mentioned in this video and see if the console prints any error.
