Thanks for your kind comment. We appreciate your support. If you've watched nearly all of our videos you've seen over 100!!!!! 🤣 I don't think you want us to bike faster -- you want us to bike more! 😎 We will do what we can.
Beautiful ride! Thanks for taking us with you! FWIW: The E-assist market is less than informed on the common Class 1 limitation on bicycles trails. Too many are unaware of Class 1 limitation existing on most bicycle trails. NFL-size rider here on my Hase Lepus recumbent trike. My 250Watt Shimano motor is plentiful for me! Too many people are not being informed, on E-assist purchase, of the existence of Class 1 limitations! Goal is to keep Bicycle Trails from becoming Bicycle Expressways!
I couldn’t agree more with your statements about a lack of education during the purchase process. Our first bikes were Class 3. We didn’t have a clue about the different classes when we purchased our first bike. What I liked most about those bikes was the throttle - which is a definite indicator it isn’t a Class 1! But I liked the throttle for a little extra assist in getting across an intersection - not for tearing up the trail. Once we figured out we had bikes that weren’t “trail worthy” we looked for more appropriate ebikes. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for your kind words. We are using GoPros. Mine is mounted on my handlebars and Randy's is on his helmet. We also just bought a DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I could mount that on the bike, but I am using that for footage when we are stopped, and I'm still learning the best way to use that camera. Not sure I have many tips on editing other than take more video than you need because you never know what you have until you get back to the computer to look at it. You need editing software. I'm using Camtasia. It's pretty user friendly compared to the others I've tried. There are several people on TH-cam who teach editing techniques -- I haven't tried any of them, so I can't recommend one. We appreciate your support of our channel.
My dad was talking to you guys last week up in Acadia and asked you how do you get those bikes on the bike rack? Not sure if you guys remember, but I opened the car door and asked what is your TH-cam channel called and now I am subscribed!!!
Is the reason for having this class 1 rule to keep people from going too fast? Some chclists can do close to 30 with no electric power at all, so what's the point?
This trail, due to its smooth, flat pavement, is definitely a trail that one could go fast on. I don’t know why the speed limit is limited to ebikes on some trails, as I agree cyclists without ebikes often go faster than we do. Thanks for watching.
70yo senior here. Cyclists that can ride fast are serious long-term riders. Their safety consensus is very mature.., and typically not at all a safety issue! Speaking from a long term of bike trail experience here.
None of these Trails should be limited to class 1 e-bikes. I can drop my class 3 down to pedal assist 1 and it stops the power at 10mph. The problems are with certain riders not the equipment.
@@rickanders5883 TOTALLY AGREE, with your logic Rick! However, the situation WOULD worsen tenfold if Class 3 were allowed! Not for you, but for far too many others!
Love your videos! Love that you guys are so active. Please bike faster....I've watched nearly all your videos😝

Well…. There was a gas station with various beverages for sale if one really was interested. We opted for water as it was a warm day :(

We loved riding that trail in April. Nice job on the video. We stayed at a Boondockers welcome in town.
Thanks for watching and for your kind comments. Also appreciate hearing about another option for staying along the trail.
been watching your videos they are all amazing, what cameras you used, any tips on editing? thanks

Of course we remember you. Randy was demonstrating to your Dad loading the bikes at the time! Thanks for subscribing. We hope you enjoy our channel.
Thanks. Can you please give a shout out next video to Julian and Karl?
Aren’t your Gazelles class 2?
No -- they are Class 1. Thanks for watching.

@@rickanders5883 Rick -- we couldn't agree with you more! The courtesy and awareness of the riders is more important than what they are riding.
