I don't understand why this woman are making videos about artists she knows nothing about and clearly has no interest in... Like WHO is this analysis for? There are millions of people who have analysed PJ with lots more knowledge, insights and personality than her... its just arrogant to believe people are interested in watching what she has to say . So Gen-Z... to bring absolutely nothing of substance to the table, just your opinions and feelings and then make the whole world listen to it.. the most meaningless generation of all time... no contribution whatsoever...

It still means a lot to us. It's so cutting every time we lose one of these people who meant so much. I was 18 when this came out. It was a real shock to me when kurt died, then as they continued to fall, from Michael hutchence, Shannon hoon, Layne, Scott, prince, Tom petty, Chris, Chester, even sinead, it's a real killer, knife in the heart. We have Billy Corgan, Eddie Vedder and Billy from Green day ... what the he'll? Robert plant mick jagger and Paul McCartney are here but our generations heroes are clocking out.

Vulnerable, that's exactly it. Eddie lays it all out there, and you can see his bandmates look at him with care and sometimes even concern, because he was so raw and exposed, and they knew it was emotionally exhausting to go that deep and to lay there stripped bare for all to see his pain... We all felt it.

This time in rock and roll was so special because it disrupted mainstream music. Mainstream shifted from misogynistic party rock and campy love ballads thrown up by the over commercialized glam metal bands to this introspective, human examination and emotional struggle offered up by bands like Pearl Jam. And all of those unfamiliar nuances of a voice like Eddie's is an expression of the introspective emotional struggle that we all have tucked away. I think that's why we were swept away by it, we all can relate in some way. I love your discovery of this. Brilliant reaction.

Eddie is on another scale. Talk about singing from some deeper place. It's as if he were possessed. Not to mention the powerful beauty of his voice. His audition tape for Pearl Jam shows he was like this very early on, blessed by the gods.
