OMG i remember KB toys, soooo many good memories of that place i miss it so much, those were the good old days before megagiant and impersonal retailers, nice little shops stuffed full of goodies and hobby shops and all that, man, you brought back tons of good childhood memories! Excellent ending to a great 4part series, good stuff Aurora, good stuff indeed!
I've watched all four parts of this video. I really enjoyed looking at your collection, although I'm not a collector myself. I have every NA DVD release, the original Mixx English manga, some full-sized (comic-sized) versions of the manga, a Mercury figure and a Mars figure with little golden wands (both likely bootlegs; I got them at a kiosk at a mall back around 2000), a shirt (from a kiosk in the same mall), a beach swimsuit poster (a kiosk in the same mall), and a Mars keychain (minus the chain; again, from a kiosk in the same mall). That's it, I think. I used to have around 6 or 7 NA English dub S DVDs that I got at Wal-Mart, plus all 3 movies on dub VHS and the R and S movies on sub VHS, but I transferred everything to DVD-Rs and donated the tapes to a local thrift store a few years ago. I've been keeping up with your Crystal reaction videos and am enjoying hearing/seeing your reactions immensely! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to checking out Crystalcast. -Mark (Sailor Moon fan since 2000)
I also first became a fan of Sailor Moon since 2000 as well. LOL I was actually 10 years old, at the time. Since I grew up watching the DiC/Pioneer English dubs over the years, I wasn't used to the voice acting in the VizMedia English dub. After watching the DiC/Pioneer and VizMedia dubs back to back on TH-cam (for a comparison), I still like the voices better on the DiC/Pioneer English dub. Since, I think that the older voices fit the character's personality better especially with Serena's and Rini's voices. I know that the VizMedia English dub is much more faithful to the original Japanese version, and how it was also the first time that Sailor Stars was ever released in North America as well. So, I'll try to complete a collection of both the DiC/Pioneer and VizMedia English dubs.
@@SiMgUrL1721 I believe my first exposure to Sailor Moon was the Lunarock CD (the second North American soundtrack album). I just saw it at a Walmart and decided "I'm gonna get into this Sailor Moon thing." So my first taste of Sailor Moon was the Japanese theme song, "Ai no Senshi", and songs like "I Want Someone to Love" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand". I believe the first thing that I ever watched was the R movie dub on VHS (I got the tape in that big clamshell box at a Toys R Us), which had Serena start off by providing a convenient intro to her and her friends. All that I knew at this point was Sailor Moon "just happen[ed] to own the world's most powerful compact".
@@tuxedomark That's cool. I started watching Sailor Moon on WB17 as a kid. I also first saw Promise of the Rose and the Black Dream Hole movies as a kid, but I never saw Hearts In Ice back then. Sailor Mercury became my favorite Sailor Moon character since she's smart like I am. LOL
I know you filmed this back in 2012 but this is a beautiful collection. Sailor Moon is my favorite anime and it got me into anime to start with :) the only thing I wish I did was get more items back in the 90's because now they are so expensive
Oh almost forgot,i still have a working VHS player! You should totally come over and we can have a movie marathon (gasp)! As much as i really may regret admitting it,i used to watch sailor moon when it ran on TV when i was younger (and i kinda' had a crush on Venus) but hey,who didn't watch it at some point from that era right?
Wow, I think that this was the video that I saw a couple of years ago when I first found out that a Sailor Moon video game actually exists. LOL Since I've been a fan of Sailor Moon since I was 10 years old back in 2000, but I've never actually seen any Sailor Moon video games back in the days. Since, I eventually found out that none of the Sailor Moon video games were released in North America since most of them were only released in Japan.
Will you do a poster and wallscroll collection? I just got a bunch of wallscrolls that I'm uber about. My favorite thing to collect is the dolls most of my collection is dolls and I have mostly american stuff overall since the foreign stuff is so pricey. My collection is on a hold for now.
hi ^^ ur collection may not be complete but still is one of my favorite ones so far. I wanna ask u, where did u get ur CDs of the anime? and all those bandai toys? I am from South America and I buy korean and japanese music online but Sailor Moon stuff I really dont know where to buy :/ there are some items at ebay but there should be other websites rite? can u guide me please :)
Hello and thank you :) I got most of my collection years and years ago, almost all of it through the internet. I live in the USA so I can't help you as far as knowing what sites ship to other countries, but some of my favorite sites to order from were eBay, CDJapan and YesAsia.
***** will you make a part 5 about all that stuff in that contaner and Have you thought of getting any of the italian merchendise like the new dolls the ds game wands broach and do you have or used to have any sailor moon playsets like the house hospital and candies
So cool, I love Sera Myu so much!^^ But I won't play Another Story. I've heard the story is pretty cool (that's why I'm watching a Let's Play), but I also heard the gameplay is so crappy! Fights are either way too easy or almost impossible. So the level curve (if you call it like this in English) is awful. Or Saturn's "Death Reborn/ Ribbon Revolution" being pretty weak (come on, it's the most powerful attack ever, except Sailor Moon's!) and other gameplay issues.
I don't think that about the combat at all. It scales up really well. There are a couple battles that may be difficult (Mercury's solo section takes a little grinding) but other than that I never had much trouble. You have to make sure to play to the game mechanics like putting weak characters in the back row for protection. Saturn is SUPER strong!
@@AuroraPeachy Okay, as I said I haven't played the game myself. In a Let's Play in Mars' part in Tibet suddenly the random encounters were almost impossible for example (but he hadn't problems before in this part). But yeah, I can't really judge. The story is really interesting though^^ By the way, I heard there is an official Light Novel with kind of a new story. But I haven't seen it, so I don't know if it's good.
@@AuroraPeachy I've now seen the Sailor Moon Light Novel (for PC Engine) on TH-cam and it's a really good story, I recommend checking it out! The Japanese voice actors "dubbed" most of the text. It's about the Dark Kingdom being brought back to life, but Nephrite still loves Naru and wants to find Sailor Moon to tell her about the Dark Kingdom's evil plans.
