    Great video.
    We will be picking up Musketeer Palace very soon, and this has given us some good ideas.

    Another great solution for van security is WITI. We've got it in our van & it's really great. It's got a break controller option with it, which makes it really good value if you don't have an EBC in your car already :)

      Yep have heard of that and have looked into it. We wanted something that would alert our phones especially when parked up at home when not in use.

    Great advice guys, I found the navigator bags are to small for the 20 meter water hose and the normal 20 meter drain hose, does not fit comfortably into the bags. Just a heads up for your viewers.

      Thanks. Yeah we found the zippers thread stretch over time and start to pull away. However when we contacted Navigator they did send out a replacement bag. Great service. But wish they were just a bit bigger as well.

    Ive got the same van. I agree air bags are so over priced from the caravan manufacture. I did it after, got the kit from TK tough ride, cost me $3500. I would never own a van without them now.

    Great tips and ideas, very informative and helpful. Really keen to hear more about the security measures you have taken on the van so am looking forward to that video. We are contemplating security measure, but are unsure what to do at the moment. Many thanks for sharing and enjoy your trip. Deb

    Hey guys, what bike rack did you go with?
    Thank you for recording these. Very helpful

      We went with an ISI bike rack.

      How did you mount it mate? Any video on explaining would be great. I am sure u had compared it with Crusader provided rack, what were key differences please? Cheers!

    • @ewkaus
      @ewkaus  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@shafmahar4974 not yet have recorded footage but haven’t had time to put it together. There a draw bar mount from ISI. Main difference was the number of bikes we could fit and the ability to swap between car and caravan.

    With the bbq slider I have similar how did you modify to extend and turn? Thank you

    • @ewkaus
      @ewkaus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Added extra drawer slides and secured them to existing slide via aluminum angle bracket and used a boat seat swivel to allow it to turn.

      Travelling around Australia has been on our bucket list, but we were never sure when to do it. We realized that our kids are only this age for a period of and wanted to enjoy this time together before they grow up. In the blink of an eye they grow up so fast.

    Hi I have a new ranger with the same problem as you have with the blinkers
    Can you please explain what you did to fix them or where to go to see the fix
    Cheers Rob

    • @ewkaus
      @ewkaus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rob used a 3.9R 5W resistors and 470uF 25V capacitor. Then created a plug in harness that plugs into the caravan connector with the components inside. Overall it works really well but have noticed an occasional quirk with the blinkers coming on when you do the check trailer lights function with the Ranger. After checking left then right both blinkers come on at the same time for a second. Have not managed to work that out yet and figure out why.

      They have been known to bend the frame while under load
