All my family have had hip replacements, most have had both replaced. I have had twinges since my 20s, I'm now 68 and the pinching pain in my groin and the soreness in my butt is getting worse. I use a stick to offload the weight, but I'm a carer for my aged mother and can't rest my hip as I should, but I try exercising as you have advised in your videos. Is there anything else I can do to stop this pain getting worse? At present no knee arthritis, but bad pain in my thumb joints.

I pretty much solved my hip "bone on bone" osteoarthritis by doing el paso Manuel PT exercises. Thanks

I had an acute injury that took months to diagnose. I tried physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor, massage, osteopath etc. When I finally got in for xrays it showed osteoarthritis in knee, femur, hip, pelvis, lumbar spine. By then I could barely walk and was in constant pain. I'm assuming I had arthritis already but the injury caused a flare up. It's been 17 months and I'm still trying to get everything realigned and strengthened. It's a very slow process but I am better than I was. The biggest issue currently is a burning, zinging pain in my knee and sometimes my quad to my knee when I stand up or do exercises where I'm bending forward and coming up. It's very painful and I haven't discovered yet what causes this, it feels like my knee is disconnecting. I was so out of alignment, am still working on mobility and strength but the sharp pain is a puzzle to me. I'm strengthening as much as I can, when I can and getting better at mentally handling the pain. I appreciate your channel and all the great information! If you could provide a few ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

I have arthritis all over as well. I'm 53 and two years ago, I started limping. Yesterday, I just had my hip replacement. I was almost totally disabled in my leg. I'm hoping my knee gets better after the surgery. Good luck, cut carbs and gluten.

Can excessive walking cause a meniscus injury……. I did two weeks of walking I was not prepared physically for and have had 4 weeks of pain in both knees. It is improving so don’t think it’s arthritis…… have watched loads of your videos and have lots of answers but would be good to know your thoughts.

Kneeathritis can not be caused by working with bended knees alll day? I am 51 , not overweight. I am working as a dentis, pushing my chair around the patients all day. I had a bad habbit of even lower than 90 degree kneeangle. Now I sit higher or try to stand.

Did you have a labrum tear? It can radiate down to the knee IMO

I think i have gout, i get flare ups in my knees sometimes. Ive been trying to strengthen my glutes, this last flare was really bad…lasted for 3 weeks.
I did the massage of the quads, seemed to help, i used heat also. Then it was gone…so weird. I also walk like a duck.
