I think more people will buy this set than expected, because a BD droid showed up with Mando, and it seems like Disney is wanting to put it in more shows. Only thing that I wish the set had was different colors for the lights on the back to signify health (green, yellow, red) like BD1 does in the game

The different lights would have been a complete waste of parts. Most people would display it with the full health, and the Blue looks great for contrast.

Love that he really looks just like a BD1 model, not a lego BD1 model. At a glance I wouldn't even guess that it's a lego build!
It looks amazing! Hopefully we will see more jedi fallen sets in the future! Maybe a mantis set? Or a buildable lightsaber for cal.
If they do we need a purge trooper because there so cool
I think there should be 3 sets for fallen order: a mantis set with all of its crew and trilla, a purge trooper battle pack with 3 different classes of the purge trooper plus a stromtrooper with a new helmet mold rather than family guy and a 9th sister boss fight set with cal and a highly detailed 9th sister big fig. I’d much rather have these than the Bd-1 as I’m not a big fan of overscaled sets.
Did Lego really say originally they weren't making anything from JFO because it was "too violent" - talk about Virtue Signaling bullshit.

I think that the Mantis would make a good may 4th UCS set in 2023 to continue the theme and tie it in with the Jedi Survivor game coming out around then

From what I've seen I would say it'd make a good 160 dollar playset ship... Well I guess it'd be 170 now. And now we are almost to ucs price anyway so yeah, I flip flopped in one comment.
@@georgieporgie10 if scaled down enough it could be priced like a play set millennium falcon. Although they’d have to skimp out on interior space. Maybe just a two seat cockpit and a small space in the back for extra seating.
Honestly this year's summer wave has been my favorite of recent years- all the sets have incredible designs and great minifigs, the price is the one thing that just haunts this wave lol
Despite the expose technic on the legs, I think this is a beautiful set. Especially for the line of droid sets with R2-D2, D-O and BB-8. I loved playing Fallen Order and quickly fell in love with BD-1 so when this set was announced and released, it was a MUST HAVE for me! 👍🏻

My one wish was for them to have some knee posability because one of the best parts of BD-1 in game was how expressive his animations made him, to the point I kept being reminded of when my blue heeler was a pup, idk why that always popped into my head but it did
Definitely picking this one up when I can. I loved the game and this is a surprisingly detailed model I could easily display.
That doesn't actually look half bad! The trailer for the fallen order sequel also looks really fun

I've been waiting for your review of this. They probably realized BD-1 was as family-friendly as could possibly be so had no reason not to produce a set. I agree that the legs needed more posability and the stim canisters weren't implemented as well as they could've been. I'm so glad this set isn't affected by the price hikes but it's really weird to see R2-D2 be more than twice as expensive now. Hopefully I can get this on sale sometime soon. Until then I'll hype for it every time I see it in the store.
This is my #1 set for this year, cannot wait for mine to arrive.
I was fortunate enough to pick this set up a few days ago, and I think I can comfortably say this is the best Lego Star Wars set of 2022

This looks like an amazing set! For $100 I think that it is fairly priced and is one of the best of the buildable characters. Hopefully more sets for Jedi Fallen Order release soon in the future!
Finished building this on the weekend with my wife. We loved it, and love how it looks! It even gets to go on show at home, and not pushed out to my office! :P

I think it’s amazing! My main problem is I wish it had the chip on his head that he used to splice imperial droids. He has it for a good chunk of the game and probably in the future

my grandmother got it for me for christmas; neither of us have ever even heard of jedi fallen order but she decided the droid was so cute shed buy it anyway. currently the largest set i own and its sick! literally barely have the room for it.

It’s weird that the bd1 droid showed up in The Mandalorian but they chose to base it off Jedi Fallen Order which they said they would never do.
Imagine different BD1 customization looks from fallen order in Lego form!

I've played this game 3 times start to finish and pumped for the next game so this is something I'm looking forward to getting, and also can you do a comparison with bb8 and do or possibly r2 and the porg

Jedi fallen order is only $10 on PlayStation and the deluxe version is $15 !! Get it while it's on sale, I highly recommend this game. 😃
LEGO needs to abolish all their rules for violence or whatever nonsense, we've gotten James Bond, Deadpool and all this other ultra violent stuff why not Star Wars??

This, the scythe, and the ATTE carry this wave for sure. The justifier is cool too but just a tad less interesting than these three for me.

Bought my first house this year so can’t afford Lego anymore (which is why I bought 4 sets last month ready to build when I move in before all my money goes on bills😂) this little guy is defo on my Christmas list tho
Yesterday I bought this Lego set (if I don't count two mini sets - Razor Crest and X-Wing, which came as gift together with Lego Star wars Skywalker saga) but overall it's fantastic

“Too violent” yet they give us ashoka and maul from right before we see order 66 and maul cutting clones in half with wall panels and doors

I haven’t played, but at this point I pick up just about all new Lego Star Wars sets, other than 4+. This is such a cool set though, and a similar droid makes a couple brief appearances with Pele Motto in Mando. I pre-ordered when it was revealed.

I got the Switch for my kid and and still have PS 3 from an long time ago, lol. If it’s available on either of those, I may check it out. I always hear that it’s a great game. I bought the Rise of Skywalker for Switch, but we haven’t played it yet. Obviously, it’s not a big gamer house, but my son is 6, so that may very well change.
Just started playing Jedi Survivor. We need a Stinger Mantis.
Anyone else have issues with the feet stabalizes, they just keep falling off and don't see to connect very well with the little tube running through them
