3:50 the way Radahn sends Malenia into her other form is a cinematic masterpiece, even the music syncs perfectly with the attack.
I do want to say that the fact that Malenia and Mohg basically squared off and did their own thing is very appropriate for the whole lore of the game. Also, Radahn coming in with his fire chariot attack was very epic

Honestly, even if Mohg's plan goes horribly wrong, the world will at worst still end up better, since it's hit rock bottom now.

Honestly, both Miquella and Mohg are doing a very similar thing, trying to create their own world against all odds, even if that means using folk against their will. However, the first is met with praise and the latter with disdain. I would argue that both are solid candidates for being chads, among with a couple others like Morgott and Radahn. However, with basically everything stacked against them but their own will, I would argue that Mohg and Morgott are the ultra-chads of ER.

Whenever Morgott says “Wilful traitors all, emboldened by the flame of ambition” brings so much power to me in my mind, like he is calling out his siblings for their wrongdoings.
@@draw2death421 he doesn't mention Mohg because Mohg has no right to the throne or to be publicly recognized as royalty. He likely does consider Mohg a traitor for turning agaisnt the Greater Will and the Golden Order, as that is Morgott's entire thing. He revers a god and system that loathes him since birth for something he could not control. its like those religious gay people who will defend Christianity/Islam to death, even going so far as labeling themselves "chaste gays" (meaning they are gay but do not act on their homosexuality in order to remain in god's good graces) despite the fact that those religions would rather they not exist at all. Morgott cannot empathize with Mohg because the two clash in ideology. Mohg's treachery is really no different than Ranni's or Rykard's when you think of it so it leads one to conclude that Mohg isn't mentioned because, as far as Morgott is concerned, Mogh is irrelevant.

Morgott doesn't even believe that he himself has a right to the throne and is only acting as king because the rest of his family are all traitors according to him. He literally considers himself a blight on the royal house and is so grossly ashamed of himself and what his very existence would do to Marika and the Golden Lineage's reputation that he hides away from his people and uses an alias when venturing away from the Erdtree. Morgott knows and fully accepts that he and Mohg have no place at court in the current system and would sooner die than let his or Mohg's affliction tarnish his mother's legacy.
Why would Morgott be able to understand and pity Mohg but not Malenia and Miquella? Bare in mind that Morgott and Mohg never mention each other, ever. Add their very clashing ideologies and I have to doubt that the two even liked each other.
@@draw2death421 mohg really doesn’t have any right to the throne, Morgott got his right granted to him because of how truly virtuous and loyal he was to the golden order, so in the time of the shattering they picked him to act as king which is why his name is “morgott the grace given” he was granted grace by his demigod two fingers and did get a right to the throne that no one else had (except the 3 empyreans but they could all just straight up become gods rather than elden lord or king of leyndell)

@@Dr.Happy11 With Radahn it's really sweet not too much at all. He never got another horse and his one and only horse was his favourite so because he was becoming too big with his training he made sure to be taught gravity magic just to be able to ride with his horse and more

Malenia and Mohg *immediately* jumping at each other's throats is incredibly fitting considering the whole "Mohg stole Miquella" thing.
Malenia VS Radahn was cool too, from a lore standpoint.
Radahn's horse is the true star of the show though (the little legs never fail to make me giggle)
I loved the godrick vs mohg scenes

Radahn seems like an unfortunate soul whose holding the star happened to make him stuck between the conflicts of the Gods and Demigods. I watched in a lore video that the star part might be the key to finally making the haligtree works, hence Malenia gambled on it with everything.
No wonder he was able to kidnap Michella look at him kicking ass every time sheesh
Lets consider the fact Miquella is the one who hypnotized Mohg, because his lilies are an ingredient in Bewitching Branch recipe, so it might be possible he manipulated Mohg into doing something
The end of the Round 1 was incredible and solemn. "The shattering...a war from which no lord arose" when all of demigods are dying is so epic, like depicting effectively that their fight is destined to end in that way. An amazing video dude

Poor Rykard, first he does'nt even start in his first phase and then he is'nt even able to use his rancor because the targeting is broken.
@@justsomewritingfan2202 lets be real, rancor isnt really potent compared to the other attacks the demigods do. Rykard is this game's Spectacle Boss... he attacks infrequently, they do good damage, but he doesnt attack nearly enough.... and he has more HP than ANYTHING else anywhere else in elden ring... his phase transition has no opener/signal attacks (unlike all of the others) and is TECHNICALLY a different boss as well as more of a cutscene than anything. Rykard was always an epic fight on every one of my playthroughs.... and i even beat him as my corrupted cleric build (blackflame and frenzyflame build) without the Hunter... it fits his lore, he's not nearly powerful enough so he consumes others for strength
kind of like Godrick is the official weakest, and yet he holds his own out of shear tenacity (befitting his lore)

The fact that Godrick actually survived until the end of almost all the rounds is really interesting, considering the fact that he is just a coward in the lore

It was scaled up to ng+7, the last round is the more accurate Progression wise and there He was, in fact, bitchslapped around

This HAS to be the most cinematic thing in here. After the Bloom, Morgott, Mogh and Godrick witness the overwhelming power Malenia holds. Radhan dies in the Waterfowl and Godrick gets staggered by the array of strikes, but luckily Mogh manages to hold off against the Goddess's immense power. The three members of the Godfrey lineage realize who's the bigger threat and assault Malenia JUST as the music stops.
Godrick survived longer than that goddess in the round tho XD

If you pay attention, the horse isn't with him when he does the comet attack. He pushes the horse into the floor before jumping up, and when he falls, he summons the horse underneath him again.

I love how many of these came down to Mohg and Malenia. Even beyond the Miquella thing, its fitting. The high priest of an Outer God vs the vessel of a different one.
Mohg definitely has the edge I’d say, given the ineffectiveness of Malenia’s lifesteal at the level they were at. Now if only her rot phase transition was nerfed with Mohg’s bleed phase transition…

Holy shit Mohg dropping the Nihil at the end of round one. Everyone had just hit phase two and he just decided to end it. That was insane.
Every other round would have ended the same way had Nihil not been disabled.
That first round was so fucking metal and cinematic. The way Malenia and Mohg squared off with each other, Radahn staggering everybody with his meteor, and Godrick entering his second phase were all art. Then Mohg killing Radahn with bloodloss while he dies of scarlet rot was thematics at its max.

FACTS
To say he’s considered the runt of all demigods, Godrick outlasting Morgott, Rykard and Radahn is pretty impressive, and he held his own against Mog and Malenia
I want to say it's because of his mobility that played a role in avoiding damage.

Radahn might even be stronger than malenia since he was literally holding back the stars while fighting malenia and managed to end it in a draw
Malenias rot at what we can only guess was her peak nuked the continent of caelid which is massive but tiny compared to what radahn does even when his brain has rotted away

Radahn's "meteor mash" was always a beauty
It was so satisfying seeing Nihil change everything in Round 1. I think Radahn would have won with his meteorite attack in Round 3 if not for some targeting error too. Man the first fight where they all died was iconic and now it makes so much sense why the demigods were all basically hiding away stockholding their power since whoever did win would be incredibly weakened by the undertaking of fighting all the others and would still have to face Radagon and Godfrey as well

Don't forget they couldn't face Radagon until they take out Maliketh who is quite possibly the strongest of all. All the while they have tarnished coming at them left and right. Mohg's plan of just hiding away and having his bloody fingers hunt down tarnish while everyone else gets killed off was the best strategy to follow.
@@5H4K490 If anything, having an ever increasing flow of tarnished, the descendants of Godfrey and his armies along with the man Godfrey himself, a flow that may start as a few drops but will only increase until you have literal barbarian hordes bashing down your gates would be a serious fire under my feet to finish the whole ordeal and reunite the Lands Between.
The fact that radagon is literally missing half his torso, cracking, and falling apart and severely handicapped, and even in that state is almost evenly matched with Godfrey in boss vs boss fights (who is pretty much still in his prime) is scary. Imagine raddy in his prime like bruh

He *was* weaker. That's the whole reason fro his Grafting. In terms of pure lore he's probably very formidable.
I was actually expecting Malenia to just outheal everyone but she seems to be constantly staggered by all the attacks and not aggressive enough to make full use of her lifesteal.
Apparently you can constantly kill her with the jar cannon as long as you target lock her t he last possible second. If you lock and then shoot she starts getting turbo aggressive. I bring this up because this could explain why she is so passive here.
Essentially, she can't read inputs and no one has her target locked, so she kind of just sits there.

@@martingonzalez3629 If you fight her without lock on, she is still pretty aggressive. The main thing might be the input reading, but that applies to all the bosses in this case. Its simply the case the startup time of some of her skills, and the aoe nature of the bosses combined, dont help her sorta 1v1 oriented kit.

Gotta say I'm impressed Godrick held up as well as he did in some of the fights.
There's something to be said about how often it came down to Malenia and Mohg. Obviously from an in-game mechanical standpoint, scarlet rot does percent-based damage over time, and bleed does percent-based bursts so at NG+7 scales they were destined to be the hardest hitters. But lorewise it's rather poetic, especially since they were mostly dueling each other in the first rounds.
Malenia was "blessed" by the Outer God of Rot, but rejected that power apart from the blooms against Radahn and in her boss fight, choosing to study the blade and become unbeatable through skill alone.
Mohg essentially did the opposite; born cursed, he sought out the Formless Mother, the Outer God associated with all the bloodfire, and with her help tapped into the power of his cursed blood and embraced his twisted nature. Just look at the difference in size between Mohg and Morgott and remember that they're twins.
And hes also fucking her little brother, who is also his little brother.
It might be that Malenia just really hates incest, even though she was born from incest at the highest level.

I find it incredibly hilarious and fitting that while everyone else is in the midst of a giant free for all Mohg and Malenia make an immediate beeline for each other and fight absolutely no one else
The fact that Mohg was the most consistently resilient demigod, even winning in the one round where he was specifically nerfed, makes it a shame that he wasn’t THE big bad of elden ring.

It’s a shame that Morgott doesn’t do well in this situation, he’s too honest with barely any gimmicks apart from some bleed. I’m not surprised with how Godrick fared, though. He showed his worth against Godfrey in that one other video.
He does a lot of holy damage, which they are all pretty resistant to. His deeds were met with failure, as are mine
@@captaindonut5240 Not only that, he is squishy as fuck, the only damage that he resists is Holy while most other sharbearers have a fuckton of resistences against many kinds of damage, the only among the great enemies that is squishier then him is Renalla, and that's ONLY because i'm considering only physical damage, because Renalla's overall resistences are greater then Morgott's.
He doesn't have any health. The health balancing team completely made the wrong call on Morgott. I'd buff him 30% more health because as he stands he gets rolled over by just about anyone and it's a shame as he's my favorite boss.

Agreed, it's so awesome, along with Nihil. I think Radahn may have even won if not for some range error in Round 3, they were all clustered together before he even reappeared as the comet.

Poor Rykard, so big that he's constantly catching fallout from everyone's attacks. Melania also seemed to be getting bullied a lot because of her low poise. Glad she got a couple of wins.
Both Mohg and Melania seemed to be dodging a lot of hits, though, especially when they get their wings.
At least Rykard has the HP to take a ton, since he's purely meant as a gimmick boss I'm glad he didn't just outlive everyone. And as much as I hate Melania's fight I feel bad for her when she vs. enemies due to how her AI works, any distance other than melee and she tends to just walk or back away. It's why in 1v1 she does so poorly, compared to what you'd expect from her, against most many bosses.
