- The Outremer technical team has arrived on Aruba and all the new parts are flown in in an unbelievable attempt to enable us to catch up with the rest of the fleet again.
Speaks volumes for the company, and its employees. Its clear they really value their customers. Well done!
Wow, Outremer customer service went above and beyond any reasonable expectations. I'm sure word of their efforts will spread quickly in the sailing community and will help future clients with their decisions. Now, let's go and catch up with the group, good luck! 👍

Wow what’s a great achievement to pull everything together and get it fixed. Outremer team did an outstanding job of field service there.
Absolutely outstanding form Outremer to get that made then shipped directly to Aruba and then have 3 guys to fit the cross beam and fix and fit the rest of the stuff and have you to back out sailing so fast is top work..

New sub here after I saw your podcast with Zingaro. I'm absolutely blown away by the response from Outremer to your accident! I'm a huge fan of Exquisite's service plan, but I'd have to say I'm not sure even they would have gone this far. Even granting that the expenses are likely to be covered by the other boat's insurance, the remarkable willingness to go to the drawing board and completely design a solution knowing it is only going to be a "temporary" fix just really is impressive.
Fair winds and following seas for the rest of your adventures...without all the drama so your viewers and yourselves don't have any more anxiety attacks.

Wow, that's a whole lot of work, parts and man power. I'm guessing that the bill will be at least $150,000.00 USD for everything including the new carbon fiber cross bar in two years. Is that about right? The job looks perfect and your new cross beam is nice looking but I do like the carbon fiber one better. What a happy and fun bunch of people that helped you get it all done and bravo for Outremer for taking care of you like they did. That's above and beyond service!

For those of us unfamiliar with European university ceremonies, what did we see? Was that a final oral defense of her Doctoral thesis? Or a graduation ceremony? It looked very different than our standard US university graduation ceremony. Congratulations to your niece for her achievement.
I think the equivalent for the successful defense of her thesis is the PhD title isn’t it?
She wrote a thesis about the use of luminescence as an aid for operating on child cancer

4 months production time, no way to transport the 1 piece carbon cross to Aruba

Hoi M&M. It is great to see you/they got this fixed so quickly. And good to see you at the Panama canal and pushing West. As a fellow yacht owner, can I ask about the costs? How much did the insurance pay, or Outremer, or you own pockets. Fighting with my insurance company right now for a claim for a lost dinghy....
We’re still expecting the other boats insurance to pay as it was pretty clear who was to blame. The other party was professional and friendly so I hope they’re fully covered too
