Well jakarta offers car free day on sunday,Gelora Bung Karno stadium red and purple light if you wish to wait till dawn

its not made of paper the 2 dimensional puppets are made of cow leather. some legend said that jn the past there were puppets made of human skin and it made the performance much better

There was only a few people on my visit. Mostly I was on my own which made it creepier 😂

Before the massive spread of islam in java the javanese used to play wayang beber which contained picture of normal human,to celebrate the demak mosque one of islam preacher Sunan kalijaga want to celebrate with wayang show but other show a heavy heart since the actual picture of man is forbidden in some islamic scholar by that time,so he modify the human picture into a thing which far far away from resemblance
