@@vanplewco I look forward to it! Seeing the “why” and the “how” on these tools is so important! The “what” is obviously the fundamentals to the tool but seeing it applied in action makes it all come together. Excited to see more in the future! :)

great video. help. used for the first time, skiver doesn't "sound" right the grinding noise. Leather stops under foot and now I'm getting an ER7 warning . says to check motor connector or machine head? huh?

Hi could you please please let me know how much thin of a leather this machine can achieve? I am planning to buy one and I need to skive the edges to ultra thin like A4 size paper. Appreciate your information. Please respond and if possible do a short video clip. ❤

Ive had ome of these machines for a few months now and have avoided it because its so hard to get consistency . For some reason, i have to yank the leather through the machine. The roller wheel doesnt pull the leather at all.

Make sure the knife is sharp and you're not going too deep or shallow of a cut. There should be no need to yank the leather.

@@michaelsmith-ep7jq thank you. I actually was able to figure it out. I watched your video over and over and suddenly realized that my roller wheel was not close enough to the presser foot. It seats a lot closer than I was initially setting it up to be. It seemed like the gap was way too small for the split to roll downward and not jam the machine. But, I was very wrong. Thank you for the reply!
