That is the simplest and coolest way I have seen yet on how to connect model to braided. I’ve done the FG but that is so much easier thank you so much for showing me. You’re the only one that I have no that does this way

Knot di video pertama kali saya belajar, sangat mudah penerapannya, tetapi sangat di sayangakan ikatan leader ke pe jadi semakin besar dan kurang kuat, karena saya banyak putus. Singkat cerita saya belajar ikatan FG Knot yg di mana2 para senior casting selalu gunakan, memang kuat dan kekuatan pe bisa berkurang hanya 40% dr lbnya. Pas saya ulik2 lagi dan pengetesan di tempat yg ada mesin pengetesan kekuatan Pe, saya pakai Relix Knot bisa sampai 80% s/d 0% hilang kekuatan lb, sangat di luar dugaan. 2th yg lalu saya uji coba di IFTE 2017 Relix Knot memang agak lama penerapannya, tetapi terbukti ampuh ikatannya untuk bermain Full Drag 🙏 Maju terus Mas Walang Video2nya, sangat sungguh membantu sekali 😊🙏
Tutorial2 Mas Walang semakin bagus. Tambahan sedikit bagi yg blm belajar, Albright knot sedikit lebih mudah daripada Alberto atau Improved Albright knot dan adalah langkah awal yg bagus untuk belajar Alberto knot, tapi Alberto knot lebih kuat 15%. Sayangnya dua duanya kalah dibanding FG knot yg dianggap sebagai ikatan 100% jika dibuat dengan sempurna. Jadi keuntungannya dua Knot tersebut adalah mereka jauh lebih mudah dan cepat. Terus dapat digunakan dengan sambungan PE ke PE, mono ke mono atau mono ke fluorocarbon dan PE ke mono/fluoro, sedangkan FG hanya cocok PE ke mono/fluoro.
Great knot, used it on 8lb braid & 4lb mono to attach the leader.. Always use the FG but in this case the line was so fine I couldn’t get the FG to work, but this one does!!! Thanks for sharing!!

I gave up on the first knot after losing 2 lifetime bass (10+lbs). It works for the average 2-5lbs bass. However, when it meets the big boys, it fails. It was on a 65lbs braid to 20lbs mono. Uni-Uni is my go-to now. FG is awesome when you're at home gearing up, but I never use it on the water. Too long to tie.
To be honest with you if you are using 65lb braid you don't really need a shock leader as that ain't going to give way anytime soon try breaking a 65 lb braid it's pretty dam hard or less ther is a fray in it and in that case you will loose both line and shock leader I'd just go allway braid if fishing 65lb
@@scottharriswestwalesfishin639 I go straight braid for frogging and punching whereas I do leader for pitching. The ladder needs the mono or floro to "conceal" the lure for the finicky fish. If it weren't for that, I'd go all braid.
@@ballzybaits4414 that's a fair comment we don't have that problem in the UK lol just some new people would think you have to go leader to braid but at 65lb you don't need it that's all I was trying to get across
I’ve tried this knot before and the problem with it is if the mono tag hits the eyes in your pole just right it gets stuck on them. After a few times of it doing this I went back to the FG knot. It takes a bit longer to tie but it’s worth it
I tie this knot but with doubled braid and go up 5 times and back down 5 times. Best Barra is 123 thus far and never missed a beat in near 20 years tying it.

ICYAngler for me FG is ez, u should try hard at home then do it on boat

Thanks for the detailed video. I’m gonna use this to connect my braid to a flourocarbon leader. I’m new to bass fishing, so it’s helpful.
For braid to mono/fluoro, might want to look up the GT knot. This Albright knot is better for tying backing line to main line on fly reels

Check out the blood knot, Matt from Tactical Bassin does a great vid on it. New favorite knot for braid to flouro.
