I remember being like 13-14 and trading away an Onslaught Windswept Heath for who knows what. "Why would I want to pay life to put a land into play?" Now you can't separate me from my fetches and duals.

If you play cards like haughty djinn or vadrik, then play lier disciple of the drowned, you can spam cards like frantic search that cause you to untap lands. But because you have a generic cmc discount, you pay less to play the card from your graveyard, so you generate mana as you play the spell.
Full sets of AQ Urza lands, in lp condition, go for $100-160, depending on the week. (I remember when I was picking them up for 50 cents back in the day).

But having a timeline when to reprint a certain card lets say every 3 years or every 5 years so that the price wont crash. But then again there also cards that have been reprinted many times and the value didnt crash..ex. fow..fetches.. manacrypt.. etc..
I don't know if Rudy reads comments but curious what he thinks about Disney's Lorcana coming out later this year. If it'll be a hit or its just going to be a flimsy game with a weak following that Disney eventually cancels later. Pokemon and MTG will obviously not go anywhere but I feel all the rabid Disney fans out there will make that first print worth something in the future if Disney doesn't print a lot.
Radiant Archangel is an example of a reserve list card that isn't worth shit. Now if you can find a foil one that's worth something, but like, the thing still isn't worth 10 dollars not foil. Great Whale can also untap Opponent's lands and makes a great combo with POWER STRUGGLE - did that in the past.

I had a full set of 40 revised and unlimited dual lands back in 1995, sold all when I stopped playing in 1998. Never knew they would be bitcoin'ed.
