Thanks for making the tutorial. Looks great. Way better than the dated wood grain. I have wrapped several things on my LR4 but this gives me inspiration to do the wood panels too.
I like the wood in mine. I've never really liked wood in cars before but personally i really like it in mine. Maybe I'm gettling old 😂! That said, you definitely did the right thing, i wouldn't have been able to cope with the different coloured woods like you had. Bit of a mismatch.
That came out amazing! The new grey one is so much more modern. I have the piano black in mine. The steering wheel control surrounds are piano black as well.
@Alastair Cruickshank Glad the video could help! In my opinion, it's not the removal of the trim that does most of the work. It's the foiling, especially if you've never done it before. My recommendation, buy enough foil 😄
Hello @Mark! There are two reasons why the inlet of the snorkel points backwards: 1. less dust gets into the air filter 2. because the system is completely sealed, it would be bad if rainwater would get in.
Hi, currently I can only think of either disassembling the whole unit and replacing the LEDs if necessary, or what is certainly easier, to replace them completely. Many greetings
Nice color choice. Great job.
Cracking effort. 👍Really like that.
Beautiful job. Thank you.

Hello Wesley, you’re welcome! 😊 What other things have you already wrapped? Many greetings, Peter

Hey! Maybe I'll take the foil off again and sand the wood and stain it a different colour like maybe grey or something ☺️ All the best, Peter
Beautiful I like how you did Weldon 👍
Thanks 😊

@Roversource Yes, I thought about doing it black too. But I would have chosen matte black I think.
Great video ! Ian going to do this myself now. Thank you.

@Fran LRD Thank you! I'm glad if you found helpful information. ☺️
Nice job Peter
Thanks Peter!
I love the look. I’m not a fan of the wood look so this is an interesting project.
Looks great and brilliant instructions!
One question though, is there a reason you have your snorkel inlet on backwards?

Very nice!!

Hi There
I have a LR-4 2016,
Lights in gear nob outer rim and letters(P,R,N,D,S) is not working.
Any idea how to change them? Thanks

mine has the Meteor trim (I hate it) maybe I'll paint all the trims in the same external Scotia Grey color !
I also thought about painting the wood trim on my new one with Scotia Grey! But I don't want to remove the door cards 😄
When u put it back to the base modle colors
Which kind of color do you mean exactly? If you mean the interior I don’t think that I’ll put them back,
Would this work on a 2011 lr4
Hey @astrogreenarrow! Yes for sure 👍🏻
👌👌
Much better. Don't like the wood in my Discovery
