I’ve come to appreciate the long waits between Kimbra’s albums … she places quality over quantity and it’s always so worth it!

My thoughts exactly. To the point I think we may hear this song at The Game Awards tomorrow (Dec 8) when Kojima shows Death Stranding 2 starring Elle Fanning. I could be dead wrong, but this feels and looks like a perfect successor for the next generation of that world and a female protagonist.

It's great to see that new, even slightly avante garde Pop music still warrants the budget to produce a video as cool as this. Kimbra has always been such a uniquely talented artist. It's awesome to see her continuing to push boundaries, both musically and visually.
That's some crazy mic'ing/phasing going on. Wild. And then the backing vocals and use of lush verb on certain words is just absolute gorgeous. What a beautiful track. Kimbra! Awesome.

Astounding. It starts like something out of Radioheads "Kid A" (an excellent reference point, if you ask me), but it develops into something else, very female, very beautiful. I like how "restrained" her voice is, no acrobatics, no singing to impress, just focused storytelling. Great visuals, too. Wow. Best video/song of the year for me this far.
