04:00 WOW! Showing the dim value in metric and imperial? Is that a v27 feature? Man, you're making me want to update more and more... I actually had a printout above my old desk that had a fraction to decimal to mm conversion chart. I now use that digitally, but it means I need to go back and forth between the design and that chart. This would be a massive help.
So I am having the problem where if I want to project an "edge" normal to a revolved feature, it does not recognize that in the sketch because it is not a hard edge per se. This creates some problems for my workflow and similarly, I cannot snap any sketch points to theoretical edges that are normal to those contoured sections either. Is there a way to address this?
I've been able to project a normal edge to a revolved feature, but perhaps it's not working in your case. If you're able to share the model, could you email to joseph@alibre.com?
Super helpful, now I have a better understanding of that tool😊

This has been possible in Alibre Design for decades. Check File>Properties>Units>Dual Dimensions how to set this up.
Very Nice!!! Thank you for the video.
I finally figured out how to use this program with my 3d printer and its awesome the parts I can make for my car
Thanks for the video.

This seems better than how Fusion 360 does it.
