Guys, to make it clear for everyone, hense why it works for some, and doesn't work for others. There's 3 different firmware versions of the W212 NTG 4.0 Comand unit. The first one, it's like 2009-10, doesn't allow BT audio streaming at all. The second one allows BT audio streaming, but doesn't have the full functionality of the BT audio menu - u don't see the song currently played, or the duration etc. The third final one has full functionality - what you see in the video. Also, there's an extra boost added to the AUX channel as an AUX Boost option, because the AUX signal on the other 2 versions is quite low - you need to crank it up to max to get some proper volume. The Comand Firmware can be updated via telematics disk booted via vediamo/xentry.
Just recently got a W164 ML 63. I can pair my phone with the car fine, the cellphone carrier and everything shows up on the top right, but under Audio there is no Bluetooth Audio option. The COMAND interface looks exactly the same as yours so I’m pretty stumped as to why it won’t play. I can receive calls and go through my contacts but can’t play music. Any ideas?

Quite frustrating it won’t work on my 2012 E250. I can’t see Bluetooth audio.
