I love how easy you make this look. I have not tried to use my low odor acrylic yet, but I feel that I have a good idea how to use it. Practice is what will let me learn to hopefully do a good application. I am a DIYer so it will only be for me or a few friends, but it does not mean that I don't want to do it right.
My shaping is horrible bc I can never seem to hold the file as straight as possible. & I was so confused about how to file the sides lining it up with the growth channel. Turning the finger to the side makes so much more sense since now I can physically see what needs to be filed. Greg is a gem 😂
Greg you make it look so freakin easy,I know I know with practice it really does get easier and easier thanks so much I have learned alot learned to trust the process and I'm a teeny tiny bit more confident than what I was but want to get more comfortable thanks, but just a question how do you guys at young nails really feel about dip powder I hear from other content creators that Kiara sky has a really nice dip and dap acrylic system and there's others what do ya think?
We have over 200 Slickpour dip powders colors in our line and it’s one of our most versatile products. They can be used with a 4 step resin system, with our monomer for acrylics, with our conversion base and top to convert into gel or mixed with our hard gel for custom colors. We will link some videos below: RESIN: th-cam.com/video/ReXNd_8dOF4/w-d-xo.html MONOMER: th-cam.com/video/nea515s3bV8/w-d-xo.html CONVERSION: th-cam.com/video/sqMtfNWv0Yc/w-d-xo.html HARD GEL: th-cam.com/video/udS6a--qCKI/w-d-xo.html
I don’t know if this is a common problem and I know this is probably because I’m still learning. I can build the apex, but sometimes they look different from nail to nail or especially on my non-dominant hand. Like my apex seems to be in the right place, but I feel like they don’t match the same style of apex. I hope that makes sense. Does anyone have any advice for apex consistency (besides filing them to death after sculpting) or is it just a matter of needing more practice?
When you are applying your product filing, it is important to do these techniques with the same routine. This way you will get the same shape and structure on each nail. Here's a great video to show you our steps for filing to get the same shape and structure on each nail. th-cam.com/video/t0YkJDaReh4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LLk525qRRL7VI2u2
I get anxiety every time I watch Y/N videos and see how much product is wasted. I want to buy all of their products but it would be so expensive and I’m a beginner so I may end up purchasing a kit but not be able to use it correctly. Watching these videos makes me want to scoop up every bit of product that’s wasted. 😂
When we teach, we try to show both the right and wrong ways of using the product so we do use more than what you would on a real person. We don't consider it wasting product if it helps to learn proper techniques as you will use less in the long run if you learn to properly use it.
@@youngnailsinc I appreciate your videos and will continue to watch them all to see if your core powder is a product I can learn to work with. (I wish I had a friend who owns your system as a way to “try before I buy.”) I’ve only had my nails done professionally twice so I’ve been learning strictly through videos, and trial and error.
Our website only ships to the continental US. We will link our list of distributors so you can see who sells our products near you. Both of our acrylic lines, all but one of our hard gel products and our go time gel polishes are hema free. Our fiber gel, maniq gel polishes and protein bond do have hema. It is a low concentration that generally does not lead to allergic reactions though. If you need an SDS/MSDS for these products, please email Shane@youngnails.com
@@youngnailsinc I had no idea. I used the acrylic system and broke out .. i used the gel polishes and still broke out.. the synergy gel i believe has hema. I had to get rid of it all even the primer has hema
@@Jenpgarcia i’m well aware. I went through a terrible allergy situation with HEMA. Once i stopped buying products with hema i could do my nails again.. it’s still a. touch and go since very product isnt the same even if it says hema free there is usually just a lower concentration .. Apres has the sensitive gel that’s “hema free” i have become sensitized to it and can’t use it anymore and switched to a new hema free builder gel.. it’s an ongoing process.
This a personal preference and you would need to decide what’s best for your personal health. Dust collectors are a great option for pulling the dust out of your breathing zone, but if you feel the need to wear a mask as well, it is encouraged. Keep in mind that it is important to change the mask on a regular basis just like you would clean the filter of the dust collector and dust can accumulate in the fibers of the mask.
I don't want to be mean, but...when I hear chewing and mouth smacking I habe to leave. I love this nail tech, but I almost never can watch his videos and it makes me sad because he is amazing. ❤

Perhaps it would be helpful to people watching to use a see through jar for monomer

Do you recommend wearing masks when doing nails on clients all day? Or is that what the dust collector is for?
