I’ve been running the off road trails on our 2013 AWD Cx-5 for years. My favorite is seeing all the over the top of the line rig drivers faces as we pass by in the car, with the kids. This lift kit would make the 8inch of clearance even better. Do you know if it fits the first gen 2013-2016CX-5?
Nice! But have a bunch of questions: - Wouldn't you need shorter swaybar links to keep swaybars in the same geometry? - how's driving on highway and fast cornering after this lift? Better, worse? - did you mabage to get alignment within specs? - those wheel spacers.... how do wheel beraings hold on?
How much more ground clearance did you get? I just ordered this kit and was wondering if you really see any difference on the height of the cx5. Sitting side by side will you notice any difference?
With this lift could you fit 265,65,17 with this lift kit. That would seem to add an extra inch to the ground clearance giving it 8.6 inches like the cx-50?
The link takes me to your website where it says for 2017+ Mazda CX-5 but In the description of the video you have 2012-2022! I just want to know if it will work for my 2013 Mazda CX-5
I have a Mazda CX5 2021 AWD 19” wheels and I want to put slightly wide all-terrain tires on it. what numbering would be appropriate. I love this video by the way 👍👍👍
The lift kit on your site says 2017+. Can you verify it works on 2016? Also does this change the geometry enough to require other changes and is there any issues with alignment
As stated in the title of the video, it works for all CX5s from 2012-2022. You will need to install the camber adjustment bolts that come with the kit and get a proper alignment done. Not doing an alignment can wear your tires and decrease fuel mileage by more than 10% The car in the video is one of our test vehicles and has been lifted for over a year now trouble free!
With the larger tires, is there any front wheel rubbing with a full turn of the wheel? I have this exact vehicle and go offroad in the summer a lot. Just wondering about wheel rubbing and spring housing clearance in the front end.
Ideal tire size for that 8.5” rim is 235-245, a lot of the OEM 225 tyres are really pushing it to fit that 8.5” rim. My CX-5 is running 225/55R19 and they suck for wet or winter use. I’m looking at 235/55 winter tires at the moment. 235/50 & 235/55 are both considered ideal at 9.3” over 8.5”.
I am currently looking at the HRG 1.5 inch body kit for my 2019 CX-5. My question is: If I install this kit and keep my stock (17 x 7) wheels, what is the largest tire that would likely fit? I'm running stock 225 65 17's now and trying to decide between 235/70R17, 245/65R17 or 245/70R17. Leaning towards 245/70R17.
I don't understand why the resources for doing something like this, are so limited / few and far between. I'm looking at converting mine into a solo camper, for weekend trips and hikes, and most of the advice is just superficial changes within the interior, and maybe the roof, but nothing in terms of the undercarriage. Thank you!
It says right in the video he’s getting 22.4mpg, so considering the EPA estimate was 24/31, and hardly any Mazdas Ive experience come close to the EPA, he’s probably hardly losing any fuel economy.

Yes, as stated in the title of the video, it fits CX5s from 2012-2022. Mazda only changed the sheet metal. The suspension is unchanged for a decade
What tire size are you running?

What's the wheel width and offset?
Where can you get those lift up kit?
Are there spacers for the rear shocks also?
otherwise you're limiting the droop range
Ever figure this out?
Still have the same range of movement.
How’s does it handle on the highway?
With this lift could you fit 265,65,17 with this lift kit. That would seem to add an extra inch to the ground clearance giving it 8.6 inches like the cx-50?
Thanks a bunch I been looking for a idea on lifting mine 2021 cx5 . This is the choice I'm.making . Thanks a bunch.
Did you lift it?!?
Were the aftermarket Cam bolts to get more camber adjutment after its lifted? The factory bolt has a cam already.
Do you make CX-30 kit?
Did you add some kind of fender flare also? Thanks.
Those look like factory flares.

It is the same kit for both generations. The second generation was a facelift. Everything underneath stayed the same.
This what I wanted to know as well, before I ordered the kit
@@MrJ38 I ordered it and absolutely love it good quality and adds a nice little bit extra clearance under the vehicle
Can y’all do a video on a 2008 Acura RDX with your 2in lift
We need to get one in the shop!
Cool video, do you know if this would also work on a 2012 Mazda CX9? Is there a 2 inch kit? Thanks!
Wondering what size tire you could bump up to on a CX-9 installation.
I have a Mazda CX5 2021 AWD 19” wheels and I want to put slightly wide all-terrain tires on it. what numbering would be appropriate. I love this video by the way 👍👍👍
I have 235/55/19 falken wildpeaks on my 2023 carbon edition. You can technically go up to 245/55 without any rubbing issue
Hi … in Australia, I have a 2015 CX9 GT … would this fit ?

What about wheel alignment and did you lose your torque wrench?
Good practice is to get an alignment when you change suspension dynamics. Especially when you increase tire size with a suspension lift.
@@YesNo-es1tyI was thinking the same.
what tire size you recommend for off road tire for mazda cx-9 2022 thank you
Stock size: 225/65/17 or 225/55/19
+1" larger tire
For 17" wheel: 245/65/17*
For 19" wheel: 245/55/19*

You said this kit works with the Mazda Cx-9 2022 as well?
Will it only clear/not rub due to the wheel spacers you have on?
And are there maybe a 2 to 2.5 inch spacers?
With the larger tires, is there any front wheel rubbing with a full turn of the wheel? I have this exact vehicle and go offroad in the summer a lot. Just wondering about wheel rubbing and spring housing clearance in the front end.
I have the same 245/65 17 with this lift and I have no rubbing at all.
I have a 2016 stock and have 235/70/17 with no rubbing. That's 30 inches.
@@jimm659when you say stock, you mean that tire size with no lift?
@@YesNo-es1ty does your Mazda have this lift installed with the 245’s?
@timmontgomery8441 yes no lift. They barely clear the spring bucket on the strut, but don't rub anywhere even at full lock
What size tire can fit with this kit before rubbing issues? Wanting to put one on and throw some all terrains on.
I wish i could get this done on my Mazda cx 5
Now I got an idea how to install my leveling kit on my 20” Nissan Rogue seems easy.
Why does it say off road only ??
Did you made that kit or buy it....
Need some just like it for 2010 mazda 5
Hi, just wondering what wheels are you running on to get 245 tyres? I assume the original one wouldn’t fit since they are 225. Thank you

will this kit work on a 2023 cx50?
any lift kits for the Audi Q7?

They say and i saw a video on TH-cam that it damages the shock
I just bought a brand new cx-50 and I'm just wondering if this kit will fit into my car ? What do you guys think?
No total different suspension
How's it holding up? How's the speedo readings?
Found to have close to stock. Maybe a 1.5mph increase nothing too noticeable.
How big are those spacers?
1.5/1

Wondering what kind of mpg hit you take with the lift (without aggressive tires)?
Ever find out?

No torque wrenches? Doesn't look professional
No modification to the shocks is needed? And if not, is the paved ride much different?
This will fit a Mazda 3 2016 right?
