I use to hear this song as an intro/outro for a local radio program in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. It would always come on in the evening time at dusk and I would enjoy listening to intro and outro of the program while looking at the palm tree 🌴 dance slowly in the breeze outside on the veranda, smelling jasmine flowers 🌸 releasing their scent in the garden. (Ah painting ah real good picture eh? Is de music!) When I hear it, it brings back that cool, laidback feeling I always remembered.
This got played on an actual radio station? In this country? Wow. Speaking for myself, I find it hard to believe that wonderful instrumental music like this could get played on ANY radio station in America.
Yep! Those were the good old days. In fact, the original WSHE used to play a whole side of an LP back in the 80s. I think it was once a week. They also had "triple shot weekends"
Agreed! One of his best.
