I'm so glad I found this channel! I had a blast seeing the journey you take to make your game while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle! I'm excited to see future updates of your current game project
Very cool that You can manage all of this successfully, especially seeing that You have a son around the same age as mine is, I know it takes a lot of energy to balance it all and give proper attention to all of the aspects of FullTimeJobIndieGameDevTH-camrDad as needed. Congrats on being able to do it!
Wait, is that sheep thing real?? That's mental haha Love this video. I loved deadpool btw, thought it was hilarious. Hope you enjoyed the process of documenting your life!
I totally get that about doing a livestream to few viewers - it's hard, you dont start streaming with many people, but you wont get many people without streaming consistently haha. So I'm just too scared of streaming now
Yeah it's interesting. The issue I had is some of my viewers were like, "Well that's 3am for me so that's a no go". The rest tuned up for the first couple and it was quite busy, but then the novelty eventually wore out for some as they'd say "Hi, now I gotta get back to work!" or its a time commitment thing. If I was starting on something Twitch id be alright because it about building an audience then. Where as this is more supplementary content, community engagement.
Haha, thanks. The Mrs taught me 2 minutes before filming. She was behind the camera, facepalming harder than anyone ever at how much I already messed it up.
I am curious, how much are you able to ruthlessly stick to your weekly schedule shown in this video? Because for myself personally, it's way too easy to deviate from trying to establish a schedule. I'll try for a few days but fall back to usual free-form habits. What do you find works for you to be motivated at sticking to a structured schedule for set days?
@Cameo221 Well, this is a representation of a pretty normal week. It can change, a social thing, a spontaneous date with my fiance or a concert, will take priority, etc, and I'll do that instead of whatever I would normally do. It's when I was doing game dev every single day that caused issues, I procrastinating more and idling during my dev hours because it was a lack of routine, etc. By the time the weekend comes around, I'm pretty tired anyway, so stuff like watching a movie and playing games is a good reset. I also can't avoid my guitar lesson hahaa.
Alright thanks for watching everyone, this was a weird experimental video, but I had fun!
Your weeks are *hectic* bro. Unbelievable job keeping it together and making progress!!
Thanks, haha. I'm glad the illusion of keeping it together is there!

Fantastic video! I'm in awe of how you squeeze so much in to your week.
@Skeffles Haha thanks for watching!
Damnnn, there is a lot going on in your week! Keep up the work! Greetings from Germany!
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated.

I enjoyed making this, but I am going to enjoy also not making this this week. Fun, but it's exhausting to think about recording your every move.
Very interesting video! Cool to see New Zeland, too :) Cheers from a Russian beginner game dev.
Thanks for watching man! Keep up the game dev.

I feel your pain. Im 38 yr old, work full time and have a one yr old baby. It's hard to squeeze in real time for my game dev
Haha yeah man I feel you. It does get a bit better as the kid becomes a little more independent when older, at least.
@@GingerNingerish not to wish the time away, but I'm ready for then to get that little bit of independence so I can focus!! Hahaha.
Super down to earth video man. Can’t wait to see this games progress!
Thanks, glad to hear it!
This man is a metalhead 😍
Ah you got me! What gave it away hahah /s

Great video by the way and your knitting scene killed me

Awesome, thanks 🙂
Man I just wrote the same idea for a video 😂
@Antantic_ Go for it. It's not too original of an idea tbh.
Opeth!

I would say not everyone needs to watch "Come and See". It might be a masterpiece, but not everyone likes to be exposed to that kind of brutality.
Just a general expression, not litterally.
