Good evening Bryan, may you kindly advice which of the Daikin external VRV unit model can be controlled with the BRC1E73 Remote Controller? I would really appreciate your advice.
Had a customer a few months ago complaining about wall mount blowing cool air in heating. After checking its vitals i didnt know what was wrong so arranged a service call by daikin. Suppose the problem was the mode 3 setting but it was a madoka bluetooth controller so im not sure if its possible to change field settings on that? Anyway thanks for another useful video 🤘
check the IDU that you are connected to. If it’s a certain style of unit such as a FXTQ it may not have its own return thermistor and therefore you must use the Nav Stat thermistor.
Hey Mark, If the fan is in auto mode and we are using the nav stat thermistor to control setpoint, the fan should cycle off after setpoint is achieved- as long as field setting mode #22 first code 3 and first code 6 are both set to off.
Because I have a wired remote controlled and always turn of at 4 ° difference from the setting that I have it if you can help me out I would really appreciate it thank you
How do I use hoe water system as a primary heat not the heatpump because i have a high efficiency boiler with hot water coil please let me know how we have KRP1C75 installed in the air handler
This can be done but you will need to get the unit M# info as well as the KRP board info and contact tech support as this will be done through dip switch settings at the IDU and possibly at the ODU- depending if you want to do the entire system or just an individual unit.
Great explanations. My local HVAC tech couldn't solve my problem but this video did.
That's awesome to hear! Not that your tech couldn't but...
Thankyou. Look forward to your upcoming Daikin videos. 🇬🇧

Hey thank you for this video. I’m getting an error code CJ. Would that have to do with switching the thermister setting?

Is there a way to have the fan cycle after it hits the desired set point temperature?
