We began our HVAC diagnostic mission geared up to tackle superheat and subcooling adjustments🌡️💧. However, we encountered an immediate challenge. Despite the condenser fan operating smoothly, the suction pressure unexpectedly plummeted to around 50 psi 🤔🔌. This anomaly triggered recurrent on-off cycles due to the low-pressure switch. In response, we swiftly transitioned into a comprehensive dia...

Have you been following the lawsuit again GPS and their NPBI technology? I want to get the NuShield-R for my house, but want to wait and see if the claims in the lawsuit are proved (that GPS exaggerated or that the technology creates other VOCs).
Google "Garner vs GPS" for more info As of September 27, 2024, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware issued a memorandum opinion addressing the case. In the class-action lawsuit against Global Plasma Solutions (GPS), the court granted summary judgment in favor of GPS on two of the plaintiff's fraud theories: 1) Elimination of COVID-19: The claim that GPS's ionizers could eliminate COVID-19. 2) Absence of Harmful Byproducts: The assertion that the ionizers do not emit harmful byproducts. The remaining fraud theory that survived summary judgment was: 3) Independent Testing: The allegation that GPS misrepresented its ionizers as being independently tested. The court declined to certify this remaining claim as a class action, citing concerns that individual issues would predominate and that the plaintiff would not serve as a typical or adequate class representative.
What training do I need to take to get the service checker 4 so I can purchase a software and a service check for at this time. I do have the Wireless that I using with my phone
You have to be certified by a Daikin instructor and complete 2 trainings: Installation & Commissioning, and Service & Troubleshooting. These are in-person classes that Daikin or your local rep may host.
Great video keep them coming 🫡

Amazon sells 2GB cards....the reason it has to be smaller is the larger memory cards compress the data too far for the MT3
Working in a puddle of contaminated oil is not professional imo. Disassemble, clean, re-assemble on clean surface. *When to change oil: 1) I pull my a short vac with _old_ oil in the pump since it will get contaminated quickly anyway. Break vacuum with Refrigerant. Drain and fresh oil. 2) Pull a long vac (depends on the size of the system and contamination but, about 15 mins per lb of refrigerant). Break vacuum with Refrigerant. Drain and fresh oil. 3) Pull another long vacuum using micron gauge. Remove hose from vacuum pump (so no need to do the ""shut-down procedure shown in this video). Feed liquid into the high side using scale. 4) If there was a Burn-Out, I put in fresh oil and run 5-10 minutes to clean the pump. If not, I leave the oil in for next "short vac". But always fresh oil for long term storage. Also. I always break the vacuum on the high side and start my vac on the low side to pull moisture through the system in one direction. After 5-10 minutes I open the high side. I've used pumps for many years with no failures. Charge the oil to the customer.
Could you do video of taking wet bulb measurements with tool?
Thank you!
unless the unit has color coding I wire 240V units with black/Red for the L1/L2 power in line with residential power 240V scheme and white for signal green for ground

Nice information knowledge hvac course details online available

Which app did you use? Every app I find requires some sort of digital tool to link the app to.
Sooooo we have r32 now and we have to make something different right? American nickel heads at work. So I have to put a left hand adapter to the tank and then attach my right thread hoses on so when I tight it up the adapter will get a little lose so I can lose some Freon right? Got it. And the solution for the higher pressure of 32 vs 410 @100f degrees instead of making the cylinder a litle heavier we got a relief valve so as if I drive and it goes off blowing in the truck moving around it will stop right? No possibility of defects on the valves either. And…….we blame Chinese products because ours are so thoughtful? Also you didn’t mention about the single chemical if we can charge vapor instead liquid. But that is too much right? Thank god I am old and retired so I wouldn’t have to live among the people that come with these ideas.
Chill babygirl, it'll all be ok.
Nearing retirement this is all about money if it's so safe how come they have a shutt off sensor in the coil suppose it fails freon pockets what about a compressor terminal blow out it's still near the home and flammable
The ozone depletion potential involving the phase out of refrigerants like R11 and 12 was very Justified. All this global warming potential now with these refrigerants is a bunch of bull shit. The industry did a great job on phasing out the harmful refrigerants and now they got to find some other reason to control and manipulate the industry.
Great Video! I loved the thorough walkthrough of the new A2L Tanks and the explanation of how R32 Installations and Maintenance Differs from R410a.
Glad it was helpful!
410a- 50% R32 50% R125. Daikin holds the patent on R32 and shares it for free to anyone to use. I work for Daikin Applied here in central TX. Proud to work for a great company.
Too the home owner it is just more stupid fu-king bull sh-t from the government.
So on a hot day when your r32 is burping in the van do I need to purge my van (enclosed space) with air before lighting a cigarette and driving home? Is the r32 refrigerant scented? I don’t smoke. Some of My fellow techs smoke though. 20+ year ago when I was an apprentice r22 was supposed to be LONG GONE by now, guess what, depending on the application and what’s going to be the best solution, if r22 is the best option I’ll go down to the supply house and buy as much as I need.
@robertAWA while R32 is considered flammable, it takes a particularly narrow range of concentration to be within range of ignition and more energy to ignite than one might expect. While the risk of ignition is much lower than that of Gas or Acetylene, it is recommended to not produce an open flame near a flammable gas.
Off topic, but Mr president you're staring into my soul.
Extremely douchey video with a little bit of leak detector sales info.
how do you brighten the screen? One i have operates chiller but screen is blank, despite having 24v.
Lots of good information here. What a great video.
Do you have to recover all the coolant from the chiller and weld the thermowells?
I wish you could use this tool on the normal Daikin Split system not just VRV..
Sounds like ur tool is the inacurate method
But the name of the video should be: how to struggle to break apart you mini split ac.
Great video. Thanks mechanical pros
pls do a video on programing the micro tec 111 via deskstop
Thanks, great video, got my first VRV install next week and what lead me to this video was that the manufacturer had said install the REFNET's vertically or horizontally and I understood that as the branches could be horizontally or vertically (but with the REFNET in a horizontal plane) and thinking about that it didn't make sense. This video confirms what I was thinking. Appreciate it.
Great to hear!
Job went well.
My data sheet is located inside unit so should I go buy it ..410a system
Thank you for sharing, much helpful. Is there a cheat sheet that you can provide that shows all the temp ranges you mentioned?, or will the ranges change depending on the type of systems?
Great informational video. I hope you can help me. I have 14 seer evaporator coil and 15 seer Carrier condenser (no matching system .I know that) There was original piston (0.088) in the unit ,but after the Carrier condenser was install, piston was replaced by TXV. Unfortunately ,randomly compressor is overheating , so I planning to put the piston back . And new piston is 0.090. What's your take on that?
You explained this so succinctly. I work maintenance on a facility with 40+ WSHPs in the ceiling, over half of which are tripping out on high condenser water temps. This is about to be my next weeks' worth of work. Thank you for making this video!
Beautiful i Love everything i Love your work it is very important you are the best
