( answer: driving to California 31 hrs and it rained the whole time. I kept seeing so many wrecks it was super crazy i finally make it to California i stopped to gas up in Stockton California and my car gets hit while I'm at the gas pump. It wasn't even raining the guy didn't have insurance luckily i was in good hands lol i got to use the rental the for 2 weeks then they let me drive it back to texas )

In 2004 I had gone on holiday with a couple of mates to Florida. We’d flown in from the uk for two weeks holiday. On the last day we decided to drive to Miami with no Sat Nav which wasn’t smart. We got there easy enough but heading home was a different story. As we where leaving Miami we realised we had no clue how to get to the Florida turnpike to head north to Kissimmee. So we drove for a couple of hours completely stressed on how to make it back to Kissimmee for our flight which was at 2pm the next day. Driving on the other side of the road to what I’m used to added to the stress lol. It was getting close to midnight when by sheer luck we stumbled upon the turnoff for the turn pike much to everyone’s relief. Needless to say we made it back in time for a Pizza Hut breakfast buffet the next day only to arrive at the airport and find out our flight had been delayed 5 hours anyway.

Several years ago, I was driving straight through from Seattle to Tucson with a buddy. We were in my car, but splitting driving time. We were heading through Southern Utah, which is literally out in the middle of nowhere. My friend was driving while I took a nap. Well, I was trying to catch up on some z'z, but not for long. Next thing I know I wake up and we're pulled over with a state trooper car behind us. My friend received a ticket for doing 100mph. Let's just say the trooper wasn't too happy and neither was my friends after seeing the amount of the ticket. What's ironic is prior to falling asleep, I'd just told my friend to keep it within 10mph over the limit or less. I'd heard from others that Utah troopers love patrolling the desolate areas for speeders. That marked the 4th friend of mine to get speeding tickets while driving my car! Lol!
In the summer of 2002, my wife's family and us were road-tripping from northern Utah to Denver, CO. At one point, the motorhome started vapor locking, it was older, 1979 model year, so my father-in-law was pouring gas directly into the carburetor from a plastic milk jug. All of a sudden, the engine back-fired and caught the milk jug on fire. My father-in-law's best friend was driving and told him to get rid of the jug, so he chucked it out the window. This was the year that Denver was having a ton of wild fires, and the gas started spreading all over the shoulder of the road. Needless to say, we suddenly stopped and used everything available to put out the fire. About 5 min, and 1 mile later, the fire department roll up and stop us. Luckily, they didn't ask about the fire, they were only checking to make sure we were okay.
The checkpoint will also take any fresh fruit or vegetables coming into Arizona from California....at least they used to.

My craziest trip experience.
Well, I am an imigrant and I was stopped by the police. Nothing wrong with it, they checked my documents, everything is fine, but then they wanted to talk with that dumbass I have as a brother, who was riding shotgun!
Little shit probably was scared or I don't know what, and he apparently decided to stay there as a fucking statue and ignore the officer... who became irritated for being basically ghosted.
So my sorry ass got detained, because they thought I was trafficking the little shit or something like that.. It took hours for my parents to come down with all the documents and for the police to check them and release ME and all that because little shit can't answer a simple fucking question and froze.
That was fun!
