- I put all the videos about the making of my tiny log cabin together, and edited them a bit just to get them below the 1-hour mark. I also edited all the music and my speaking to the camera (not much admittedly). Just enjoy the sounds of nature and of working. Hope you'll enjoy it. Thanks for watching!

Those shingles look amazing, great job.
It took a minute or two but they turn out nice. The wood helped, black locust has a straight grain so it splits nicely. Thanks for the comment.!

That was the main aim Wayne! Well not the impressive bit, but the just a handful of tools bit. I wanted to see if I would be able to build something out from materials found in that forest using only as few hand tools as possible. Cheers!

I am so fucking impressed that I subscribed the moment I saw you use the Wood Auger and Dowel Rods / Pining's in your build. Nails are not fallible and they will and do bend, screw's are known to shear off with a sharp impact to their stress point. The tried and true method of using a Wood Auger and Dowel just makes good sense to those who know what good construction is. Bravo. Let's see more !

There are some tears, sweat and blood in that cabin, specially because I don't have any idea about cabin building and everything was done after thoughtful planning and thinking 4 to 5 steps ahead. And sometimes even that wasn't enough and I screwed things up pretty badly! Cheers!

@@EgoitzSalsamendi I would have been there if they had, definitely! When we were young, we were all busy with things that seemed important at the time. Now my dad has passed and my brother and I are over 50, but I still remember the camping trips and snow forts.
