@@Andrew-vt4jt no. I didn't get a gold steering damper with the Yume x11. I got the too small black one that is pre installed and now may be bent from damper going through the packing.
I ordered this in black and had some issues so Yume sent me the updated gold one and this thing is so awesome. They fixed all of the small issues. Mine has no slop, no rattles, no noise and rides like a champ. I’m 250lbs and I went up to 55mph with throttle to spare. Yume also redesigned the damper and it rides like a Cadillac now. Get the gold scooter and you won’t be disappointed. In a few years, as long as the quality stays the same or continues to improve, they’re going to give KAABO and Nami a run for their money. I don’t have the led screen but the scooter is pretty awesome. Every time I ride it, people turn there head and look. I have a paved bike path that runs parallel to a busy road and I like to open it up on the bike path and people in cars just stare because I’m going just as fast as them. I had it up to 55mph with throttle to spare. It’s awesome for the money but just like any scooter, get some loctite and use it on the headlight bolt because it loosens when you ride if you don’t. Yume sells all the parts for it on their site and if you don’t want to do the repairs yourself, most golf cart places will work on it. I had issues with the older black model but the gold one has been flawless. Lastly, just make sure your tires are inflated correctly and you’ll be good as long as you don’t crash it or ride it in the rain. For that price, this is the scooter.

Manage to hit close to 600mile from August to September, once I finally got mines. There is a major learning curb if your not used to using Dual-motors. I've manage to hit 45mph+, having the steering dampener does help at higher speeds.
steering damper definitely will help at high speed,I crashed at 50 miles/hour on OUTSTORMMAXX,and crashed on my left leg ,I guess being used to be an avid bicyclist help me to soften the brunt of the crash, nonetheless my leg hurt for a week.
This Yume scooter is actually manufactured by Maike. A lot of these sub, $2000 scooters, are made by Maike, and re-branded for other companies. I have the Maike kk10s. It looks identical to this Yume. Right down to the exact sane bad suspension.
You might like the Qiewa Q-Power2 E- Scooter. It's my first e-scooter. I ordered it 2 Fridays ago, and it arrived the following Friday which was awesome. It is rated 60MPH with a 90 mile range for $2,500. So far I am having a blast on it. Mostly got it to save on gas to and from work. On my rides, though, I have only been able to get it up to about 45MPH. Though I do weigh 245-250lbs, so that might be a factor. It is very well lit, even has a massive light on the front and signals in the back. I'm going to work around midnight, So I need those lights lol. Also, I don't know how it compares to the Yume, but it is definitely bigger than I thought it was.
Hey. I have a Kugoo G2 Pro, only 800W motor, I weigh 125Kgs (275lbs) and it still does rated top speed of 45Kph on the clock, about 41Kph on gps. Try it down hill. Your weight should not affect the top speed on a good down hill run. No matter how big the hill the controller still holds the G2 at 45Kph.
thats pretty normal, these motors all do about 70-80km/h on a 60V battery, if they had a 72V (84V fully charged) battery they would probably be able to hit 60mph or get close
Very nice looking scooters. The one thing I can always say about Yume is they have a very good known reputation to having some of the best looking scooters in the industry. The X7 is also beautiful too.
Just ordered mine yesterday. Will use it to commmute fo work through the greebelt. Normally my drive is 6 min to work, with traffic lights. Thank you for all the tips and review!
@MrBalas3 Love it. I take it over the grass, across arched pedestrian bridges, etc. People are terrible drivers, though, and I've had a few close calls where they don't look when turning or when I slow down to turn myself. So it helps a lot to keep the lights on. Full power, the thing peels out. The only cons are the cell phone holder, I jumped off a curb, and my phone went flying. The rear view mirrors are pointless. They shake so much that they move, and are only useful if you are not moving. Also, the battery life is shorter but still decent. And charging it takes several hours.
I've had it for about 2 weeks now, my main issues are the center turn coupling for the steering stem constantly coming loose . I've tried tightening it with channel locks and still comes loose. The steering damper is short. Range is nowhere near the advertised numbers. I do 7miles in the am and 7miles in the pm with lights on and it needs recharging everyday to full for this type of commute as I end up with one bar left. I don't know how long that 1 bar would take me but I can't risk getting stuck without battery pushing a 110lb scooter for 50 blocks during my commute.
Thanks for the update! We are currently testing and will be looking for those issues. You should contact YUME about getting the updated steering damper.

Change the brake pads every 200 miles? Don't know how you guys drive but I have 1500 km on mine and the pads are halfway done. Teverun Fighter 11 Zoom brakes. On the Apollo Phantom 2 1500 kms pads still good. That's approximately 1000 miles. I say that bike has cheap pads. Changing brake pads after 200 mi is a little crazy and would be questioning the quality of the scooter.😢
I bought this scooter and it is terrible the front shock didn’t hold air (missing O ring on the valve) not to mention the air shock took two and a half hours to remove and took two people then when I call them the customer service person they answer in the phone car and can’t help me. Don’t bother with this scooter it looks good on paper but doesn’t live up. I’m currently trying to return it but will probably be out hundreds in shippers because they don’t cover shipping returns
this is a late response but to alleviate the key entry being in the way @ 6:38, during collapse of the handlebar, couldn't you relocate it to the left side?
The sentence in that manual sounded just fine. “Wish you had an environmentally friendly blah blah blah?” Just add the words “do you” to the front and it’s just as anyone in America would say it. “Do you wish you had an environmentally friendly mode of blah blah blah?”

Ordered last Friday and received it today Wed (5 days). Box came undamaged and assembly was pretty easy. Forget the instructions.....useless. Dampener was too short and dangerous on a turn because you simple can't turn beyond the length of the dampener. Contacted YUME and they charge $165 for the 130mm version. I am going to hold off on changing the dampener and remove the short one all together. Acceleration not too good, but once it get passed certain point, speed picks up. Too scary to go full speed on my first ride, so will take it easy until I know the ins and outs of this scooter. Fender rub sucks. I may have to jimmy up something later. It's not a big deal but annoying. Hydraulic brakes not too good so far. Maybe it needs break in period since over the duration of my test, the brakes started to work better. Overall, still happy with the purchase.

I was reading about this scooter review on your site. The front air suspension you mentioned about adjusting it, was it because you found it too soft? too hard? I also read about the low rear driving deck... can that be fixed? Do they offer an adjustable one? Can I easily modify it to be raised? Will lowering the front air suspension help it level out? Does it matter or is it negligible? I'm new a it and mainly riding street, not off road so much. Again... great informative videos like always!
hi jimmy and andrew, for the price and performance, i would compare this scooter to the nireeka prime carbon e bike i was raving about yesterday. i do have to admit to being baffled by the handlebar choices these companies use. a solid 28 or 30 inch mx style wide bar would offer really good handling and stability. gentlemen keep up the GREAT work. p.s. i am orderin that nireeka prime bike in red. your channel has a lot to do with my love of all things electric.

Any direction and leads would be a great help new to all this and not having much luck. Please HELP...
Hey man, what’s the true mileage like on the scooter?
Please do the dualtron compact
Those instructions scream out to me to never buy that brand. Sounds like they do not trust that it will not fail and burn up. Who onows what will happen after a year of basic bumps in the road when things shift around
I hate to be the bearer of bad news however the x11 does not come with the gold damper it has the black one still.
I know because mine just came today and it has the black damper!
Where did you buy it from?
I edited my original comment minus the thanks because you couldn't have known. Sorry about that.
@@freshlycharged I got it directly from yume and it came from the California warehouse says Yume. I messaged Yume about 4 times regarding the damper and I still haven't heard back. It has only been about 2 hours since leaving the messages though!
@@freshlycharged Do you have any suggestions besides already contacting Yume?
I buying this scooter. How price please tell me
Hi! Got mine and love it. Does anyone know how to change kilometers to miles per hour? Thanks for the great video!
put your P2 settings to 1 will change to mph and miles
@6:48 Is that groceries hook metal or plastic? Wonder if it'll break with too heavy of a grocery bag?
Plastic but will not break.
Have you ever tried putting a shopping bag on the hook ?
It's flapping around all over the place. (Very dangerous)
What would you use it for?
How to put e-scooter to a car?
This or Dualtron III?
Wow ganda
Hello do do do that scooter have a place for a seat
Genial saludos cordiales desde Patagonia Chile. Quisiera tener uno para ir a mi trabajo..
Do you consider this the best scooter under 2000? Trying to use this for Uber eats.
We are in the testing phase right now. Stay tuned for the results.
Get an ebike with swappable batteries. Much more sensible.
6:00 ... Hey a misogyny! It can also be a ¢unt-bay right? 🤣
3:00 Gold?💀
lol
hi jimmy and andrew, for the price and performance, i would compare this scooter to the nireeka prime carbon e bike i was raving about yesterday. i do have to admit to being baffled by the handlebar choices these companies use. a solid 28 or 30 inch mx style wide bar would offer really good handling and stability. gentlemen keep up the GREAT work. p.s. i am orderin that nireeka prime bike in red. your channel has a lot to do with my love of all things electric.
Appreciate the support and I hope you love your new bike!
How no one noticed the key entry in the way when folding the handle bar!! That an engineering crime.
looks as simple as installing it on the left side instead?
Hi! Where can I order Yume XII online?
AliExpress and Alibaba online site you would be surprised that's where they bought it from because they don't tell ya where they buy it from 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe it’s titanium?!?!?
Janobike t85 look alike
Quality check lol
Those brakes aren’t even sufficient for Mercane WideWheel…
very big TH-camr that rides dirt bikes bought a e-scooter from them and spoke to their manager after bending a rim and the managers don't know that their rims have magnets do you understand that the manager walked over spoke to the technician and they stated that their Motors don't have magnets they're stating they only have one $2,000 scooter that will not allow the rims to break if you're 200 lb osprey or somthing is the only omne they have for a 190 to 200lb man what is this bull yume cant be selling a the frame it self there cost is less than 250cash so in short u think there not makeing 500cash to 1000cash off some of them how u going to work for yume and tell someone who spant 2500cash and win u call to report a problem they dont no any think the company is so goddamn dumb that they make a stabilizer arm for the y11 that fits on the y10 but because it doesn't say that in their goddamn catalog and their computer in front of the sales rep they don't know now u I'm pissed that you're promoting the company and yet half the people that work for them don't know what they're selling and win yr told this u dont have nothing to say wtf man guys
Do you guy's think this Scooter is better than the new Apollo Ghost? #FLINKO
My X11 turned out to be a piece of crap and their customer service is just as bad! DO 🚫 BUY YUME SCOOTERS!!!
Imagine buying a real gold scooter 😂😂😂😂
Or it's gold lol
solid GOLD!
I negative review on their website about my actual experience and they immediately deleted it and called me to confront me
Do you recommend the x11?
Same here. I wanted refund and their "service rep", said ok but it's just a string along to keep you on the hook and you'll never get it from them!
They are a scam company!
Stay away from these scooters!!!
I don't want anymore people getting screwed over by this company!
@@yoinky I don’t like the company but the scooter is great I put 1500 miles with only a few issues
@@harleyharrison9180 hey, what’s the mileage like? I have to make a commute that’s about 14 miles both ways and I’m not sure if it can truly do it. Would it go 30 miles on a charge?
I’m 300 pounds what’s a good scooter for my weight
Kaaba Wolf King. I am also a big guy, and the Wolf King is amazing.
@@brycelaing7603 Agreed
A tow-truck 😜.. it depends on how much you're willing to spend. There's the Vsett 10 line up, zero 10x, Yume and Kaboo. Look at their line up and compare. That'll help ya decide which one fits your style.
Its not worth it your better off with a kaabo wolf warrior

I only wanna spend a 1000
