Can guarantee the rest of the world have other things to worry about than the welfare of a dog or any other animal.
Only reason I didn't slash him in this game is for the tactical advantage in the possibility that he was going to attack the killer.
This is automatically the best game in the Anthology for letting you have a dog companion who can survive with you.

Did you know the game acknowledges the dog if the others die? Connie can be the sole survivor with an ending by himself on the shore, or a foot note that "you even managed to get the dog killed".

Honestly, that choice always struck me as sort of......artificial stupidity for the sake of giving the player a tough choice. If the dog is attracting attention, then just let him go so he creates a distraction one way or another.

You just gonna have to judge me then. I knew the game would stop being illogical but simply not letting the dog go if I don’t kill it (which anybody in their right mind would have to make for an extra distraction) but instead would’ve given up my cover …which was shown here 😂

There's an ending where he captures Mark and Kate if everyone else is dead, forces mark to make a call to 5 other people so they can be the next victims, if he doesn't, both Mark and Kate die
And Good thing to know he doesn't kill Kate if she's alone

I don’t get why when Kate is in there with Jamie, Jamie dies but when Jamie is alone in there, the killer hits a can of beans. It doesn’t add up
It’s the same way with Kate, if she is alone in there he will hit the can, it’s cause they have plot armor and one of the two, wether it’s Jamie or Kate, will always make it to the end boat scene
I chose to untie connie, the girls hid and when the game gave me a choice to k!ll him with a broken bottle, I refused.
So he attracted the killer and Jamie got an axe in her head.

I thought it might be something in favour of Mark because receiving the axe is the reason he can get it stuck on the boat so Du'Met presses him against it.

Because the dog doesn't want to attack the murderer even if it can. Dogs are animals and are not guided by reason, and since it's not your dog and quite possibly isn't even trained, you can't order it to attack the murderer. Case in point, do not ever rely on animals doing anything.

Im so pissed off at myself i did everything right leading up to the killing dog decision i had kate alive, i told her to hide but i killed connie, if i didnt kill connie then it would’ve survived NNNNOOOOOOOOOO
This was the only decision that shocked me once I watched playthroughs. In my first playthrough I did it without hesitation because it was the most logical choice, but I haven't seen a single playthrough yet that has also chosen to kill the dog lol.

Do not tell Jamie to help you… you have to under the killer and who you are dealing with. The Killler clearly gets off on fear. Sure if you attack a killer like that they will be angry and thrilled and just straight up kill you cause “you hurt me”
Long story short he killed Jamie in front of Kate instead of killing both to amp up fear and grief and kate because it’s “art” to him to see people in terror. Otherwise he wouldn’t have really done it if it just that one person by themselves
Example when he locked Erin in the room in the beginning. If you choose to simply take the asthma pump from him rather than attacking him. He left her alone

@@TylerDurden42069 the way that scene/scenario is set up. Kate is suppose to be with Jamie. I’m not sure if Jamie is solo if the options change to free Connie or leave her stuck but I’ll just go with freeing her. If you don’t kill Connie and let her bark then Jamie will be spotted and be killed regardless because Kate isn’t there to back her up since she’s already died in a different scenario.
So you’d have to kill Connie in that scenario if you wanna keep Jamie alive. But that means you lose saving Connie who is apparently a bonus character to the story.
