- Angel Reese responds to the Alyssa Thomas foul. Alyssa Thomas was ejected after a flagrant foul on Angel Reese. Per Reese's comments she has known Thomas for years dating back to Maryland and expects this type of play because she is a professional player and knows players do not and will not be nice to her. Connecticut went on the win against Chicago despite the ejection.

Maybe that choke slamming is legal in the MMA. That should be flagrant plus player suspension in organized basketball leagues. This shows the inmates are running the institution. The officiating is too sporadic to keep these oddballs under control to provide a consistently good product that earns league wide better pay for a better show. 😑

YES, a hard foul on Reese however we must be fair and objective. *Angel has to keep her forearms lower and not put it behind the opponents head & neck area*
If you look closely you see it.
*Reese went in for the rebound with her forearm clearly up high and used it as leverage & force for the rebound behind the players head* like in the OG BBall days that I like but you'll get an OG reaction for it aswell.
So the reaction and hard foul was from reese's actions 1st still good physical competition by both players.
