Best vids on here on pike buddy can't understand why not more enjoying your vids,I just bought rod and reel that want use for everything shimano stc multi length 270 or 3m 😂I think in old money 8.10 and 9.10 paired with shimano ultegra 3000fc lovely light mobile kit as don't drive just want a pike now rods 30 to 60g so lures deadbaits should be no probs light and on move get more covered bugger 2 trips to carry gear to peg each to own

good to watch...i used to live bait a lot....but it seemed to attract jack pike , i know some fisheries ban livebaiting and of course you have to catch them ....have you done much livebaiting in the past and what is your take on it , my regards to you , john . Incidentetly i now live in new zealand so no more pike fishing unfortunately....but plenty of different species to target . However i do miss my piking .

@obsessionwithangling thanks for the quick response. Im fairly new to pike deadbaiting and been using semi barbed. But many people tell me to just go barbed and strike early. It's hard to know the best option

Trial and error , always have one in the margins - then roam the other rod around different areas.
