I think the reason the podoboos act that way is due to them wanting to fly diagonally, and the the speed of the moving platform is the same as the podoboo. And it might mess with the animation due to the podoboo touching the platform first, since the platform is parallel to the podoboo. Just a theory
Ok, understandable, you can still call it potoboo if you’d like.
I knew them under the name Hothead.
Now I realized that Hotheads are another different species. This is confusion!

Now things get even more confusing, because Podoboos are called "Hothead" in Germany and Hotheads are called "Hothead" in Germany. Meanwhile the one hothead is still jumping out of lava and the other one is moving around surfaces.

Unlike Carl, Smashy doesn't upload Uno Mas videos at like 4 in the morning, which means that he lets you actually get a slightly better sleep schedule

The blocks were moving through the tracks rather than attaching to them.
@@mrspiffy8587 no they're reconnecting with the downward diagonal track on all of the examples, one of them is very close to the end of the track but you can still see the slight speedup
they're contraptions for placing a spring / pow / pswitch onto a block at a set number of pixel offset
ie not directly in the tile above the block but -12 pixels left or 4 pixels right or whatever
which could be used to make a puzzle level where you have to create a pswitch staircase in smb1 or a precision level where you need a spring or pow slightly off by X number of pixels to make a difficult jump / some other similar mechanic
For the last level, the set up behind the flag actually shows what should normally happen with the springs, the other ones were all offset because what travelled on the tracks didn't follow them.
On a sidenote, the set-ups 1, 2, 3 and 4 apparently work in all physics, but the underwater physic highlight the fact they don't move at the same speed after phazing through the tracks (or taking a wierd path that doesn't follow the tracks) I didn't reupload to change the description and I'm not sure if it would've worked with the character limit anyway.
The other set ups are exclusive to underwater, like the description says.
Prequel refers to my level Uno Mas: Losing tracks of Reality which showcase set ups to make items phaze through tracks under normal physic. (and apparently night airship and night sky for some of them, if not all of them)

There's nothing really weird with the underwater tracks...
I knew the first one accidentally because when I was a making a troll level of Mario getting stuck inside that sideways spring pit then when I tried getting out with that glitch I thought I double jumped
But this video helps for some crazy levels
And I found this cool way of making hard levels
1: make a long vine
2: turn it into smb1 mode
3: make a one block space with the long vine in it
4: add spikes to the walls of the one block space
(This only works for super Mario maker 1 or in super Mario maker 3ds)

I am surprised that Nintendo isn't as aggressive at going after bugs and glitches in SMM2 as they were in SMM1.
I made an Uno más level about being able to do a sort of double jump with the dry shell while mid walk. Is there a discord to submit this kind of thing?

Alot of the time random indie games and stuff like that dont have a whole lot of glitches, meanwhile games like smm2, botw, and well, most of their platforms in general, have tons. Check out nintendo unity's channel, theve been showcasing the most broken glitches in every game, and my point is that its suprising that a huge company like nintendo has this many glitches in a single game, but it's not a single game. It's really every game. And yes I know, that's how video games work, there are GOING to be glitches and bugs, just it's kinda surprising just how many there are compared to other games, such as roblox, or terraria. I hope this clarifys if there were any misunderstandings!

the track is a bit low
i think the first mechanic works because while the spring bounces you, you touch the ground because the collision gets smaller horizontally
The first one is probably because you end up touching the floor bouncing between springs

Snow Way Out is one of the most bullshit Mario Party 8 minigames. The hitboxes on the snowballs stay active for at least a solid second after they touch the ground. Terrible.

Well, as you see, for the blocks and platforms on tracks, some don't go on the tracks that they pass through if you look closely.
