========= Historic Fact ==========
On November 30, 1939, the Winter War, referred to in Finnish as Talvisota, began. This battle was a military conflict between the Finns and the Soviet Union. Finland’s tiny army held off the Soviets for a few weeks before they were brought to their knees. Talvisota ended on March 13, 1940.

My grandmother's father was born in Finland but had moved to Sweden before the war. He went back and fought in the Winter War and had som pretty severe PTSD by the sounds of it. Finns are such tough and sturdy people though, history shows; dont mess with them! 😳
