After some checking other launchers ,It is my humble opinion only that how these launchers react is related to the type of device as most of these devices are not the same inside . So what works on Chevy is not always going to work the same on Ford. But until experts jump in ,I will continue with Flauncher ,
Congrats on being so foolish as to run this app with the real launcher simultaneously because this is not actually a launcher but simply an app that makes you believe it's a launcher so it has to be running at the same time the actual launcher of your devices also running so you are reducing your system resources, making your device less capable, less powerful, using a ton more RAM just to try to trick yourself into thinking you have a different launcher when it's actually just an application running on top of your real launcher which degrade your entire experience. This calls itself a laundry but it doesn't replace the real launcher on the device. In fact you have to trick it by using button mapper so you can press the home key and pretend the real launcher isn't there even though it is. This would be like if I told the home key to go to Spotify every time I push it. Spotify is not my launcher, it's just an application I've told it to open so I can pretend it's my launcher when in fact it's just an application running on top of the actual launcher. So using this example you would do what, tell the home button to open the "launcher app" which would then allow you to open the app you actually want to use? Cut out the middleman and forget this not good solution launcher that reduces system resources and degrade your entire experience. Just installed Flauncher yesterday on x88 pro android tv box. I am struggling with selecting my own pic as background I select custom , a screen pops up with my pictures . I select a pic It sends me to a screen asking me 2 select my Home App I select Flauncher ,always And it takes me back to my home screen and no change to my background. I have 2 assume this is just my system and not Flauncher Any thoughts

When I installed flauncher on my nvidia shield pro 2019, it works fine at first, but when i change it as my default home launcher(by disable android home), i can not connect to wifi, so i need to enable android home, then all works fine, how can i solve this problem? i want to set flauncher as default.
Installed this on an x88 10 pro. Works great. I tried four different launchers and this is by far my favorite. The x88 is a very capable system but it comes with a terrible launcher. Flauncher makes it feel premium! Thanks for the great video and review!
i know this is old but i got mine working going into the home settings on the button mapper like he does but at the top u have to select under customize i selected the double tap and chose applications scrolled down to flauncher and when u double tap the home button it will take you to flauncher sometimes it will take u to android launcher just double click home button
This is not actually a launcher. It's just an application running on top of your real Android TV OS launcher. It's an unnecessary app that creates shortcuts to other apps that has to run at the same time the actual launcher of your device is running. Proof of that can be seen by the fact that you have to trick the home button into opening this application pretending to be a launcher so it doesn't actually show you the real launcher of your device because people want to trick themselves into thinking this is a launcher replacement when it's just another thing running using up system resources that is completely unnecessary. Sure the idea that you can customize the shortcuts anyway you want them to seductive and it's very nice looking but the reality is this is something that will lower the performance of your device because it's an extra thing unnecessarily running and it's not a actual launcher replacement. It's just an application pretending to be a launcher because it lets you click on shortcuts to applications. It's an application used to launch applications. You can already launch applications directly from the actual launcher without the need for this. It may look pretty but it's reducing your systems resources and hogging more RAM lowering the performance of your device. This is not a good idea.
