The 4-series is a rival to the A5, so it's a bit pointless to compare it to the A3. The A3 is more of a rival to the new upcoming 2-Series convertible instead.

It's a nice little cabriolet, it looks good (would go for a red one however) but it is also expensive and even more when you order it with some equipment...

How does the A3 cabriolet compete with the 4 series convertible? The A3 competes with the 1 (and 2) series while the 4 series competes with the Audi A5.

...the A3 cabriolet is nowhere near the A5 or 4 series when it comes to price...

Comparing A3 with 4-series is just crazy... you can get two entry level A3's for a price of a modest 4th series...

im a big fan of Audi but don't understand how a car could have bang & olufsen sound system and no electric seats ?

She forgot to tell you that this car will be made in MEXICO, NOT Germany. The IT department is run by a contracting company in India, the car it self will be made in Mexico. Which makes this car less than 20% German made.

By the way why do the British love convertibles so much even though it seems to be raining in the UK always and every day?
The summer in the UK are nice and warm not scorchingly hot so very suitable for driving with the roof down. The weather is temperate most of the year so not too hot or too cold. Yes it rains a lot but on days when it is not raining you can enjoy roof down motoring.
For god sake, just put her on every cabriolet's review.
