Hi Colin, I threw out a rack which came off a Bullet electra-X I had a few years ago. I doubt it would fit a meteor, but it was original and weighed a ton. I am with you on buying from India. Some motorcycle suppliers are asking the earth. My Himalayan has a Chinese adventure top box, £75. Temu brake reservoir cage, £3 Temu. Chinese qualdlock about £5. Seat cushion £8 Temu and I ride with my Lidl flip front helmet and 30 year old leather jacket and cadet boots which were £20 from India. The last oil filters I bought were 5 for £15 delivered from India with seals, O rings and gaskets. Riding with quality does not have to cost the earth. The weather here has also been attrocious the past week but getting out on both bikes each week. Take care
Hi Paul, we sing of the same hym sheet as they say, I buy so much stuff from AliExpress and temu not only for my motorbikes but all other things as well, yes it's cheap, yes it's Chinese, but if it works and does the job then that's all I ask, unfortunately for some it's all about the name, I'd love to tell you our weather here is getting better, but as I'm writing this, it's pouring down, oh well, one thing we can't change is the weather, take care......
